This is a family-run hotel in a very prime location (close to the night bazaar and numerous shops and restaurants). The best part of this place is the customer service. Very responsive, caring people run this place, and the food they serve is delicious.

The location was amazing, close to night markets and great food. The smoothie cafe attached was amazing and delicious. Very chill vibe overall. Hosts were so helpful and welcoming. Affordable and simple place to rest

Dang, the owner, was absolutely amazing. He welcomed us with open arms and was very helpful with giving us recommendations, helping book excursions, and even helped coordinate getting our laundry service from a local business.

The owner and the staffs were so nice and welcome. The owner also kindly gave me some info about night markets as he knew it was my first time in Chiang Mai. Overall, people were great.

I booked a single room to stay alone but the restroom is separated from the room. It was unexpected because it is normally supposed to be in the single room. And I didn’t like the restroom because it looked old and uncomfortable. There is no mirror in there. And the flow of shower was too strong and too weak. It means it had no moderate level of the flow of the water.

An excellent place to stay!!!! The owner is so kind and welcoming... one of the nicest people I met during my 7 weeks in SE Asia. He helped us plan a food tour and was very quick to respond when I messaged him with questions. Our room was clean it's also close to some great night markets. I definitely recommend to anyone staying in Chiang Mai☺️

We had such a nice time in this lovely hostel, we actually extended our stay! It was clean, comfortable and just what we needed for a place to stay, eat and sleep before going out to explore Chiang Mai. But what made this stay exceptional was the host Mr Dang, he was so friendly and informative, helped us with booking activities, recommendations and was just a very nice welcoming host to make you feel comfortable when you first arrive! We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Chaing Mai. Also, his smoothie bowl cafe below the hostel is amazing! We had breakfast there every morning and it was delicious. Very good price

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel in Chiang Mai! The owner is truly exceptional – the friendliest Thai person we’ve met during our trip. He’s always smiling, kind, and eager to help with arranging tours or transportation, making our stay stress-free. His good English made communication a breeze.The property is very clean, and our room was lovely, featuring a balcony overlooking the street. Despite being centrally located, it was quiet at night, so we had no trouble sleeping. The private bathroom was outside the room, which was a bit unusual but still convenient and clean.There’s a cozy café downstairs where we enjoyed a good breakfast. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore around.Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chiang Mai – it’s a fantastic value with incredible hospitality!

The rooms are clean, comfy, and quiet. The location couldn’t be better, with restaurants all around and the night market next door. The host, Dang, and his family also run a restaurant on the first floor that is the perfect place for breakfast. Dang had great recommendations for things to do and went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. For example, I had souvenirs to send home before checking out on a Sunday. Dang caught me before I left and called all of the surrounding post offices to find one that was open. On another instance, we needed to print our train tickets. Even though he didn’t have a printer, he had many suggestions of where to go and who to ask. We loved our stay here so much that we didn’t think twice before booking again the next time we were in Chiang Mai. P.s. you must try the brownies - Dang’s daughter makes them and they are the best we’ve ever had!

Great hospitality by the owner, he even gave some good advice on activities within chiang mai. The location of this place is great, and I was very happy with my room as well.

Excellent location, and Dang was a wonderful host. Kind and went out of his way to be helpful. Just a nice warm guy to talk to about anything including our trip. Helped with booking tours and tuk tuk’s.

The location is nice, Warorot Market and Tha Phae Gate are walkable. There's a money exchange in front. There's a cafe in the hostel and room is comfy and nice!Mr Dang is what I aspire to be in the future! He owns a hostel a cafe and a tour agency.With that - it was just easy to go around. He recommends the things you’ll enjoy. I’m thankful to him cause he organized my airport transfer, elephant trip, and recommended me the BEST MASSAGE. They even have yummy fruit bowls too! Bee Friend Hostel is homey and comfy! I had a good sleep and rest, I also got to work during my stay. Their internet is reliable! They have a cafe downstairs so get your caffeine and energy drink/bowl with Mr Dang. Its quality food! 100% recommended! Friendly owner and friendly neighborhood!

Location was perfect. Close to everything we were looking for

Super friendly host, Dang, was very helpful and knowledgeable. The hostel is close to the night market but far enough from it to be quiet at night. We loved the restaurant and coffee shop downstairs.

The hostel is well-located near the river and old city; there are numerous coffee shops, massage studios, bars, outdoor markets, and restaurants within walking distance. The bed was large and very comfortable, the room (on the third floor) had a spacious balcony, and the downstairs cafe had delicious smoothie bowls and pancakes. Also, the host was very kind and helpful!

The room fronted the street, so there was a lot of noise from the bars and speeding scooters. This may not be a problem for you, but I can be a sensitive sleeper.

The property was perfect for our stay. It is well located and within walking distance of the night bazaar. It accompanies a restaurant serving high quality food ranging from fried egg and croissants to customisable acai and smoothie bowels. The best thing about this property is the amazing host who helped us throughout our trip from start to end! We were very grateful to be welcomed everyday with a smile and greeting. He was approachable and we received recommendations for food from here which was beautiful. Overall, this is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend to a friend!
