Raya Heritage - SHA Plus

The Raya Héritage hôtel was my jungle oasis just outside of Chiang Mai. The room was my anchor. The lanai was so relaxing and filled me with light and healthy vibes, especially as I was overcoming a cold. The doa treatment was well worth it and added to the healing. I lived the staff, they were mostly very accessible and helpful. The grounds are gorgeous. The benches that line the river provide good stations to reflect and absorb the wonderful greenery.

The food wasn’t as good as I expected of to be, I got room service several times and was always slightly disappointed. The breakfast was better but not stellar.

Loved the focus on natural local products and sustainability while providing high quality products and services.

Construction on the other side of the river - but it's temporary and was not too noisy.

Breakfast options could be better! Also the pool is not heated so some days we couldn’t use it due to the water being cold

Everything. This was an exceptional stay at a beautiful hotel that goes above and beyond to make your stay special. Staff were all welcoming, smiling, happy to help and gracious. Special thanks to "Lala" who was welcoming during our late check in. The spa experience was nice and professional. Internet speeds were acceptable. Room design was exceptionally unique, we loved the Lanna inspired theme. Restaurant (and room service) were very tasty with wide variety of options. 10/10 would recommend.

Loads of insects on the balcony, especially at night. But this is unavoidable as the hotel is directly on Ping River. TV could be bigger, or maybe a projector can be installed in the room...

Good day trips suggested. Beautiful room and balcony, comfortable bed. Nice decorations everywhere!

Pool and Bar is not extraordinary

Everything was amazing. The rooms were beautiful and It was very private and peaceful. The staff were so kind and friendly and by far the best service I have ever experienced.

There is nothing that I disliked.

Beautiful hotel with stunning heritage decor so beautifully & thoughtfully put together. Our suite had lovely views and was so relaxing.

No fault of the hotel but some land across the river was being cleared so not as peaceful as one would have hoped for. Also the hotel is not so central & you need taxis or the shuttle to go into town.

unique architecture which is a mix of northern thai culture and minimalism. spacious and clean room with plants decoration - bedsheets and towels smell so good.generous a la carte breakfast buffet which high quality food. staff were very caring and friendly by sending us small gift as we stayed in raya as a celebration of our anniversary. relaxing facial treatment done by professional therapist.

there could be more treadmills (only one now).lunch and dinner menu in their only restaurant are the same - if you are not dining outside, the food can be boring despite its high quality.

The breakfast was amazing. The location is not in the city center we which loved. Kinda feels like a secluded hotel.

The only thing like we don't like was during the time we stayed there, we noticed there were 2 groups of magazine photo shoot / influencers? They were not disruptive/annoying but just a little like need to walk the other way or need to avoid them when we see them doing the photoshoot or talking to their camera.......

One of the best hotels, quiet location, professional staff, everything clean and tidy, varied breakfast where you are served. The skills of massage therapists are on the top level, in short words an exclusive paradise. We will come back for sure. Most recommended in Chang Mai.

Room, environment, staff

The whole design of the hotel was impressive, staff were very professional, kind, and helpful. We received fresh fruits in our room every day, and enjoyed the balcony a lot. Breakfast was not buffet but a set menu, however you can order as much as you like.

The pool was a bit small. I would not give a 10 for the location as you will need to call Uber all the time, but it was not a big issue.

Just everything. The stuff was so helpful. They make you feel like you are the only guest in the hotel. Every requst is replied within minutes, and always with a smile. The facillities are exceptional. The resturant is great as well. Certainly the best hotel I have ever been too. Highly recomended !!! We hope to come back again!

We liked everything!

Hotel was beautiful. As soon as you enter the lobby you are greeted with views of the river, the decor is wonderfully calming and in keeping with the natural surroundings. There is such an amazing atmosphere to the hotel and the smell of jasmine in the walkways around the hotel to the rooms is wonderful. Beautiful setting on the river. Fabulous view from our room, we were on the second floor, river view room, I believe and had a view of the river through trees, which made it feel like a treehouse which was really unique, the sofa area on the balcony with an outside tea making station and mini bar was wonderful all with the sound of exotic birds, simply amazing. The rooms/bathrooms are gorgeous with every amenity you could want and more from a 5 star hotel. We requested adjoining rooms as we were travelling with our two teenage kids, which we got. Between the two rooms we had plenty of space. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and in true Thai tradition, so friendly. Breakfast was simple but delicious, the a la carte menu made for a nice change from buffets and the room service food which we ordered once during our stay was fantastic. Absolutely impeccable hotel. Would stay again without question. Highly recommend. 5 star plus.

It is set slightly away from Chiang Mai centre so you can't really walk anywhere from hotel. However, reception will organise taxis and there was a free transfer to the sister hotel which is located more centrally. Having said that, we used Bolt taxis whilst we were there and they were great and really cheap. But in rush house it can take 20 minutes to the centre. We were travelling north and south of Chiang Mai on excursions so for us, after a crazy few days in Bangkok and our activity filled days, the relaxing atmosphere at the hotel was just what we were looking for.

Staff so helpful. They genuinely wanted to please. Room 3rd floor high ceilings mix contemporary and local - do relaxing.

1st floor bar and 2nd floor team rooms had to go searching for the staff. But when it arrived service excellent.
