Nidhra Lanna Hotel Chiang Mai

Stay was perfect and the second best stay I've had whilst travelling throughout thailand. The hotel was lovely: fresh looking and smelling. Bath in room was genius and also fantastic : evenings looking out into the evening will not be the same without it! The staff were attentive, kind and lovely, location was perfect generally. lt was a little way from the gate and the main tourist thoroughfare for those who want but for me was just right. Everything you need is within easy walking distance though.

Navigating crossing roads nearby was a continual test of patience

This will be a fun review!They are selling this in booking as a 4-star hotel and 3 star in Google. In all honesty, this is simply a guess house, and if it was a 20 euro, a night would be normal, but it isn't for us. We actually found later on a 5 Star Hotel on the same price that we paid. Look, it is nice to be high in life, we all need that feeling once in a while, but the reality is completely different. The stuff were lovely, but in Thailand, all the people are, so this is given, and it's not the guest house privilege. On this price, I can not give them more than 5 score, but I'll give them low to drop the overall of 8, which is totally misleading. No elevator, no lobby, no water for the weekend and If that's not enough for you, the mega noisy boulevard and the canal with the rats, directly right in front of the "hotel " will complete your joy. Seriously, don't pay more than 20-30 a night for that!

Close to night life short walk to everything. 7/11 2 minute walk. Night market close for eating. Close to temples etc.

Water tap in sink moving not tighten down same with toilet seat easy things to fix they should. No in room safe to put your things.

Ground floor room has no windows to open! The bathroom is bit old and needs makeover.

the location was good staff were nice enough

the room wasn’t very clean there was dust on lights and the sofa was broken. bed was okay. the worst thing was the smell coming from the drains in the bathroom and shower.

the rooms are pretty loud you can hear the street noise the whole night longso if you need some sleep it's not recommended ?

The location was excellent and the breakfast they offered was very good value

Very noisy, directly on the street. No breakfast in the hotel. No privacy in the bathroom. Okay but not a 4 star hotel.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast that is delivered to the room. Spacious room. Good location to explore the city on feet.

No elevator.

Good location and nice decor. Loved the roll top bath in the suite. Comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast delivered to room and available 07.00-15.00

Some people may say that some of the wooden furnishings such as dressing table/ bathroom table are a little old or shabby. To me it just added to the room.

I like the location and the room design

I like the room but the AC is too loud, we almost could not sleep. The parking is small

- the spaciousness of the room- the breakfast - the location- the amenities around (laundry services, 7-eleven and bubble tea)

- Air Con kind of bit noisy- Weird smell in the toilet

Big room nice inside. Great for 3 people.

Could hear everything going on outside the room. People upstairs dragging furniture across floor at midnight past 2am.

This hotel is conveniently located near Thae Pae, is clean and comfortable, and had very warm and hospitable staff.

We were on the fourth floor and we had to climb quite a bit of stairs during our stay ?

location was really great

I didn't like anything apart from the room size. when I was booking the room the pictures painted a thousand words. looked great. when I got there I was extremely disappointed. so much so I checked out amd wemt to the marriot Hotel

Nice location, the breakfast was super good, staff was very friendly. Room was clean and AC worked well.

It’s located just outside of old town and it can be really loud as it’s on the Main Street. Bed was hard as a brick.

No lift, we were on floor 4 so got a bit annoying after a while

Breakfast was only adequate and the property is dated and tired. A 10 minute walk from town with a rather long deserted ally to gain access.

Nothing Terrible experience

I don’t understand the good notations. This was the most terrible experience in Thailand.The room was like a basement. Located on the ground floor I could hear what was happening in the lobby and the heavy traffic from the busy road right nearby.The window did not open neither the shutter which explained the damp smell of the room.I waited for the hostess to come back from her shopping to ask to change room she faked looking for one to finally tell me that the hotel was fully booked.A total ripoff, unacceptable. This room should be used as a storage but not to be used as a hotel room. If you see “last room available “ just choose another one!! Or book a hostel it will be better deal.The television was poor quality, of course no netflix, just few channels and the image was poor quality.Added all this there are soups tea and coffee for sell in the room but no kettle whatsoever to prepare them.The location is terrible just outside the old city right next to the busy road, that is why there are ear plugs at the reception (I don’t know if they are for sell or not)
