Green Tiger House

Loved pretty much everything. The staff was amazingly friendly, the free breakfasts were incredible, the plunge pool was a great midday break from the heat, and the location was perfect. The room itself was super clean and comfortable to sleep in.

This hotel is amazing! Far and away our favorite of all the places we stayed in Thailand. The facilities are beautiful, but the staff is what makes the place amazing. They are so kind and accommodating!! Especially the receptionist. She was incredible.

The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful, and the rooms were incredibly comfortable. Would certainly recommend to anyone going to Chiang Mai.

It was within the old town and near a gate. It was very very clean and quiet. We had a nice balcony. The breakfast was superb! They served other meals as well and it was nice to have the option to eat other meals there. Their chef is amazing!

Facility was very spacious and felt homey too. Staff made us feel it was our second home. So nice, helpful, authentic. We would return for sure if we travel to Chiang Mai. Food was more than excellent. Generous, wonderful menu options for the included breakfast. Other meals just as great.

The room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Great location on the north side of the old city. The breakfast was incredible and the common spaces were nice and well kept including a coffee/yoga area and a pool with lounge chairs.

Everyone is so friendly. Daily breakfast provided. The staff was helpful with everything we needed. Room was clean and comfortable.

Exceeded our expectations!! Everyone was so polite. The food was also surprisingly amazing!! Get all the smoothies and the vegan food is so good.

Their interior design was on point and the room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was yummy too - just that there were a lot of flies that would go near you while eating but I guess that's something tough to change. I really like how homely the place was and how the cat family roams around the hotel freely - you'll be greeted by them every morning :)It's a place I will return the next time I visit Chiang Mai!

The breakfast was delicious, the room was spacious, water pressure was great (loved the natural shampoo, conditioner and body wash and the view from the open area on the top floor is stunning.

Our stay at Green Tiger House was amazing thanks to the wonderful staff and especially to Ms. Fahh. Fahh (The "sky" in Thai) is our angel! We can't describe how protective and carrying person she is. Our booking included the breakfast at the Reform Kafe, located on promises. Reform Kafe should not be missed when you are in Chiang Mai! The food is sooo delicious! The room was spacious with the balcony, cleaned daily, white towels, unlimited supply of drinking water, tea with tea kettle and mini fridge.We stayed before at various places, but this is the best stay in Chiang Mai!

Friendly, helpfull staff. Excellent breakfast and food at the restaurant. Nice area to chill by the pool.

Beware, there is not an elevator. Other guests were respectfully quiet when going to their rooms.

Fantastic breakfast in a green, lush garden. Very good coffee.

The room was very noisy because we were near the stairways. The toiletdoor has grilles in it and is about as sound isolated closed as it is openend.

nothing, however I think some of the other rooms would have been noisey as the hallway echoed when people where coming and going. and maybe options if your not vegan as I had to go else where for my coffee.

I love the vegan restaurant, Reform Cafe. The breakfast that came with the room was excellent. Good variety and you can eat as much as you like. You might be tempted to overreat! The bed was very comfortable. Not too hard like many of the beds in Thailand. The sheets were soft. The staff was excellent. They are attentive and really want their guests to be happy. Nice quiet neighborhood. Nice view from my superior room. Good location. The balcony is nice, but I got a few mosquito bites at dusk when sitting out there, so I didn't use it again. I like the fans in the restaurant to keep mosquitoes away. The Chiang Mai Muay Thai gym is a 6 minute walk, and although the equipment is a little antiquated, I found it to be a great place to use the machines and equipment. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Green Tiger House if you can afford it. The price is a bit high compared to many other places, but I'm glad I splurged. I've stayed in less expensive places in Chiang Mai, but for me, this was my most pleasant stay.

One suggestion I would make is to show guests how to use the a/c remote. I didn't realize until a week or more into my stay that there are quieter settings on the remote. The a/c was a little loud when on "auto", but when I put it on "cool" mode, it became quieter. Some of the guests were a little noisy some nights--opening and closing their doors, or locking their doors. But this is hard to avoid at any guest house or hotel, and I am more sensitive to noise than most people. It was quiet during the night, which I appreciated. The price is a little high compared to other places, but it was worth it for me.
