Chada Mantra Hotel

Everything was great: the location, the hotel and the staff. We had a nice corner room that we really enjoyed! Lots to do in the area and lots of yummy food!

Fourth time staying here. Cute, comfortablehotel with friendly staff in a relaxing neighbourhood. Lots of good cafes, juice bars, restaurants and a market nearby.

Wifi weak at times in the room.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location near both a local market and food stalls and tourist-oriented shops and restaurants. 6-bed family room well laid out and very convenient with 2 sinks, 3 toilets, 2 showers. Comfortable beds, good aircon. Mini fridge restocked daily with bottled water. Small sofa and table with 2 chairs in the room plus storage cabinets. Pool officially 14+ but I saw some younger kids using it quietly and the staff did not seem to mind. Nice common area and seating downstairs and on the lawn.

I'm an early riser so I would have liked the cafe to open earlier but there are plenty of options on the same stretch. Some noise and smoke from the place across the street, but did not bother us when we were in our room.

The hotel does not offer breakfast. However, they do offer a lunch and dinner's service which of course, you need to pay for. There are several tables located outside the restaurant where you can watch the people as you eat. I used the swimming pool briefly. The water is not real warm during December.

Situated in a very quiet part of the city. Or perhaps the whole Chiang Mai is just calm and peaceful :) The place was nice, tidy, and clean. Most of the places I needed were within walking distance.

The staff was very friendly and the location very. The swimming pool is a plus for hot weather

The mattress was a bit hard

Located in the heart of the old city, it was easy to walk to everything we wanted to see. A nightly food park with entertainment is a 2-minute walk away. The room was clean and comfortable. The view was nothing to get excited about, thus having a balcony is of little value. Walking anywhere was safe and stress-free.

The whole area is a bit run down with a lot of pot shops and backpackers, but I guess that is part of the local tourism.

The storage of luggage after check-out could be more carefully. We left our luggage there and after we got them, they were all wet (the ground is flooded with water) and some of our clothes were colored and we had to thrown them away.

The Hotel is located on a good area, with planty of street food places, massage saloons, a market and a festival area. Few minutes to the main street.

So many things to do it that I didn't have time 5o use the pool of the hotel :)

I chose not to utilize the breakfast option since the coffee maker is conveniently located nearby. The location is superb, right in the city center, making it easy to access various attractions. The pool is delightful, with a depth of 1.4 meters, allowing for a relaxing experience. However, it's worth noting that being in the city center, there can be some traffic noise during the day.

Some amenities could benefit from replacement. For instance, the towels appear a bit discolored, and replacing them would greatly enhance the overall experience

Comfortable spacious place with elevator. Located in the old town, it's very convenient to go anywhere.

The soundproof of the room is really bad. The sound in the corridor can be heard very clearly, especially in the middle of the night. :( The room I stayed is at the intersection, so the sound of cars on the street can also be heard.

Really excellent neighbourhood, loved the area, many great food options around hotel. Good air conditioning.

Lovely vibe In this hotel .. So quaint ..like a snow white and seven dwarfs feeling haha . Really polite helpful staff , in a beautiful laneway , bars restaurants all on your doorstep and like a 5 mins walk to more lovely areas ..The hotel food was also really good and good value . Truly enjoyed my stay , felt cosy and homely . Pool is a bonus .

If I were to pick something it would be the thin walls . I could hear everything that went on in next rooms . But it wouldn't stop me from staying again . As it gets quiet late at night .
