    Pros +

    • Beautiful building, quiet, a lot of tree beautiful garden.
    • Breakfast adequate. Staff did their best to accommodate my dietary needs.Location perfect because I was attending a course that was within the hotel.
    • I like the pool and environment. The location just near the Night Safari.

    Cons -

    • No complaints.
    • Just one thing i don't like about was when we stayed there for a week and there's one group of people singing with the karaoke they provided, shouting and staff until around 7 p.m. A place like this hotel shouldn't allowed such kind of behavior.
    • The location is a bit far from the town, and although it turned out completely manageable and even easy to go out and come back by taxi, it’s good to bear in mind you won’t be able to walk to places from the hotel. But what didn’t like about the hotel was the bedding in the room, which was made of synthetic and unbreathable, especially during raining season in Chiangmai. Chiangmai was very humid and sleeping with the duvet I was always covered in sweat, but if I didn’t use the duvet I was cold. It was something I wish the hotel would consider doing something about: change the bedding to real proper cotton bedding.

I liked the quietness and architecture of the hotel. It felt very private and calm and the building and garden are beautiful and with character.

The room and the pool are so cute! Love the silk blanket ❤️ The view from the balcony feels like living in the jungle — so peaceful and wild at the same time.

We saw scorpions ? on the way to the room downstairs ? and found little cockroaches ? inside the room ? — we killed them. The hot water also takes a long time to heat up, had to wait forever!

The hotel has the best garden with a nice big pool. I felt very at peace there.

Not all staff felt me welcomed. As a backpacker i didn’t feel very welcomed by the lady at the reception, more like a intruder. But the man was really nice and very helpful! I booked a massage and it was convenient to get it in the room, but i wasn’t that great. The lady was on her phone while massaging and stopping all the time to replay. I got the idea that she didn’t like her job. There was also no hot water in the shower.

The room was fully equipped with everything in the right place. The hotel grounds were well planted, a bit like a little oasis in the city. The pool was cold but well appointed. Breakfast was good with the staff member doing everything to make it perfect.

Food in the restaurant was not so good which was surprising as the breakfast was great. Could do with a better coffee machine though! There were doors banging all through the night from the other guests. Could do with some soundproofing in the rooms.

Loved the serene, countryside aspect of the hotel. Set in gorgeous gardens. Super-sized bedrooms with heaps of storage. Dedicated work area.Fabulous staff - especially FOH who allowed us to check in early.

    Nothing ?

Beautiful gardens and great service, rooms were a great size with a view out to the gardens, and close to the night safari and Carp Cafe.

Would have been nice to have a traditional Thai breakfast buffet rather than Western style. It is a long distance into the old city, a bus or transfer would be good (would have happily paid) otherwise I recommend prebooking your grab ride.

    Lovely dinning room staffBeautiful grounds

    Bathrooms could do with updating

The place is amazing. Lots of green and very clean, comfortable rooms. The food was really good, although breakfast could be better

The walls are quite thin, and location is about 30 mins out from town. But we loved that it's out in nature

    8DelportPosted on: 1-9-2025

Beautiful hotel. Stunning gardens and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was good value.

Not quite walking distance from central city but easy enought to get a cab.

    8PreetamPosted on: 1-6-2025

Decent place, looks fancier in the listing photos than it actually is.Location is a tad bit away from the main town center, about a 20 minute drive.Great if you have your own transport, but difficult if you are relying on grab/taxis/public transport. In House Restaurant serves decent food, but quite expensive for what it offers.

The staff weren't what you call hospitable or keen to help. They weren't rude or anything, but the place lacked the Thai warmth that we have grown used to.The restaurant staff were polite, but again, quite uninterested.Required constant reminders to refill potions in the buffet.

Beautiful resort with lush green garden and beautiful and clean rooms; very nice staff.

The rooms are not well soundproofed, making it easy to hear even the smallest noises from neighboring rooms. Additionally, starting at 8am, the staff begin cleaning the garden using loud leaf blowers. Not an ideal place for those who enjoy sleeping in...

    5SaniaPosted on: 12-23-2024

The garden is super nice and the place is quiet.

Almost half of the menu was out of stock. They do not have enough staff to maintain the property. We called around 8 pm to the restaurant to order dinner, and we had to call 3 times. No one picked up the call because all the staff were busy. Lastly, the bed was super uncomfortable. the pillow made my neck stiff.

    8ShaugnahPosted on: 12-22-2024

Helpful staff, spacious rooms that were well-equipped and clean.

The restaurant didn’t have everything that was advertised, such as pizza oven was broken and we couldn’t partake in cocktail happy hour, which was advertised everywhere, as the staff were apparently unable to make the cocktails shown.

    5MaddisonPosted on: 11-17-2024

Pool was gorgeous, staff were very very lovely!

The room smelt like mould. It’s about a 30 minute scooter ride to the city. And about 30 minutes to an hour to get to any attractions such as waterfalls.

    7ElizaPosted on: 9-18-2024

I stayed here for a week. It is clean, the area is very quiet, the staff is kind. If you want to relax, this is a good hotel for that

The internet can be improved. I could not make video calls with the internet from the hotel. We had to go and buy a router to use it

    Gardening , room size

Full of Mosquito even in the room.

    8RyPosted on: 8-9-2024

Stunning, green grounds with amazing flora - was a treat to wake up to seeing green and listening to birds. The four poster in the room was quite magical - comfortable room, though could do with a small table where to keep water + kettle + cups etc.Lovely bathroom. Love the fact that they use wood for everything and there is very little metal and no plastic. Bravo. the shingled roof is stunning. the hammock and swing chairs look and feel lovely - perhaps could have a small covered gazebo, so that one could laze even whilst it rains.

No negatives for the property except that it is a 30 min ride to the city centre (if you want to be really close to the old town, this is not the place to be). Although, getting taxis (Grab) is very easy and quick and we were out each night. And if at all they'd like, a bit of personalisation in the rooms will be nice. e.g. a vending machine at the reception (is a wonderful idea when you have children) but it just doesn't go with the rest of the property. The one black mark for the place is that the restaurant is a disaster. The food, the decor, the lights (except for the staff who are amazingly polite and helpful) is all sub-standard. The food and cocktails were both sucky to put it mildly. Drinks were fizzy and tasteless and all four cocktails tasted exactly the same.Breakfast was stale and sad. I am vegetarian, but my daughter mentioned that the sausages and bacon were like steamed rubber and also tasted 'old' and off. It's a stunning place and I wish they could do something about this one part which doesnt seem to belong.
