Huen Hug Chiang Mai

Location is super convenient and quiet despite being 5 min away from everything

The rooms are tiny, it can be a bit deceiving with the advertised photos. Beds are also very small and mattresses are extremely hard (to the extreme, like it was not a mattress at all). Be aware when booking. Otherwise, the room was very clean and staff was friendly

Very friendly and helpful staff, room was cozy and comfortable, and great value at the last minute. Location was also totally awesome!

Room was a little small

I stayed at Huen Hug 3 weekends in a row, as I was doing remote volunteer work during the week. Huen Hug is in a great, safe neighborhood close to daily market, small cafes, restaurants and shops, including 7/11, Its a lovely family run business, and I felt like I was coming home each time I returned.

We stayed for 5 nights. The location was perfect, and the room was clean. I'd recommend if you're in Chiang Mai for a couple of days.

The bed was a bit too hard.

the location is the best. Night, wet and supermarket are within 5-10mins from the hotel. Room is clean and bed is comfy.

Soundproof is not that good but understandable. Pillow can be cleaner.

Nice staff. Everything clean and tidy. It is within Chiang Mai's central square, so you can reach everything easily. Free fruit at the reception and water in the room. Good wifi. Very quiet at night.

The view from the room was not very inviting, but that was not so important for me.

Super friendly staff! they were very helpful and it is a great location. Walking distance to many of the places in Chiang Mai we wanted to go to. Provided water bottles to us each day.

- Location: Right within the gates of the old town. Great starting point to explore but also easy to grab taxis outside. Night food market and lovely breakfast cafe in close proximity.- Lovely staff- great attention to detail in furniture, decoration, etc- super clean- free water daily

Location is good. The staff is nice.

The room is furnished with wooden furniture, which is rather old but very classic. It’s quite dark at night, but during the day, it has good natural lighting, though the windows offer no view at all. The photos on the booking website make the room look much newer. Additionally, as mentioned by other guests, there are ants on the bed (likely due to the age of the building).

The location is great! Quiet also convenient to all spots.

No window screen, resulting in around 30 mosquito bites per night—absolutely insane! The balcony is purely decorative, inaccessible, and offers a poor view outside. The room is also quite small and overpriced.
