Everything was nice - location, character, comfort. Exceeded expectations.

Fresh fruit for the drinks would have been better than flavored syrups.

Very convenient location, far enough off the main tourist street to be quiet, but close enough to be a convenient walk away. The property captures the 'feeling' of the Old Town very nicely. Lots of restaurants close by, easy access for transportation options, and no matter the hour, the area is well travled and safe. Staff are great, very kind, helpful and professional, all of them going out of their way to assist. Pool is nice and clean, grounds are likewise, and rooms pretty much spotless. Bed was comfy, the toilet flushed fine and the aircon worked great. Buffet breakfast was perfectly acceptable.

It's an old hotel so the rooms could benefit from an update, but this is a pretty minor thing...those same rooms give the place character and a cool vibe. Some daily variations to the breakfast would be a nice touch, but again, this is a pretty small thing.

We had a great stay here and I would book this hotel again, if I go back to Chiang Mai. We had a late flight out of Chiang Mai and the hotel was good to store our bags and give us access to a common area where we could sit.

Great location especially for first timers to Chiang Mai, they provide great service always smiling staff and helpful

Water pressure and hot water is terrible

It is in an amazing location, most attractions in the old city are in a close walk, breakfast was good and varied , staff was courteous and helpful.

I like everything the hotel offers. From english speaking hotel staff to the room! Everyone is so friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The room given to me was very clean and organized. Everything i needed during my stay was provided including a hair dryer!The location is also good and very near to Wat Phra Singh and some of the local restos like It's Good Kitchen and Baan Buri.

Big pool close to airport short walk to markets

Bathrooms very small and toliet s are cramped , happy hour is not well know and staff seem to do the bare minimum for guests , if you want your sheets changed it’s a cost as well… staff are good but don’t really go extra mile to see if people say need extra

Pros: breakfast @180 baht/pp buffet style with fried & scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, chicken ham, pancakes, toast, rice, hot veggie, hot noodles, hot soup, green salad, cucumber, tomatoes, shredded cabbage, cereal, granola, juices, milk, coffee, tea, yogurt, 2 fresh fruits. Con: not enough hooks for towels. Can stub toe on shower pan because you need to straddle it when on toilet. Pro:Deluxe room is spacious and air con blows over foot of bed not at your head.

Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Room was good and the location very convenient

Bed a bit harder for us

The hotel was well designed and felt fresh and modern. It’s also in a good location with most of the old town within walking distance so lots to see and do.

Breakfast could have been better. No butter for toast, the eggs were cold and limited options otherwise.

Location was good for old town places to walk to. Staff were lovely.

Pool was freezing. Bed very hard. The power point next to the bed only worked if you kept the bedside light on or removed the bulb from the light.

Is clean. Like the location, can walk to everywhere. A big pool, quiet. I didn’t hear noise at night, my room was on the 4th floor and away from the main street. I cannot comment on the breakfast as I didn’t take. 180baht/pp. starting from 6.30am.

A bit of smell from the bathroom. No vent, they let the window open and when the door is shut is less problematic. didn’t smell at night in the room, only in the morning. Is not sth you cannot deal. I am not sure about rooms on the lower floor.

Great place to stay in Chiang Mai`s Old Town. Most of temples are wihin walking distance. Places to eat and shop nearby. Decent breakfast. Great pool and poolside terrace with sunbeds. Spacious room with modern decor. Highly recommended, would stay at this property again!

No complaints really!

De Charme Hotel is a good value for money option. Its location is great, allows you to walk to anywhere within the old city. It has a gym, which can be better equipped but, is good enough for keep you on the track.

Great location, easy to get to the walking market and temples. A great pool which was lovely to cool down in after a day exploring and gym, and a very nice breakfast too.

Slightly strange that there is no bar or restaurant after breakfast but there is so much in the area that it’s not a problem. The bathroom set up is a little strange too!

The location was brilliant and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

The pool area was in the shade for most of the day and only had 6 sunbeds, which wasn't great.

The hotel was brilliant, it was a quiet hotel which was great for us. The pool was fantastic, it was beautiful and made from natural water and was nice to have a chilled, quiet day by the pool. Pinky was absolutely brilliant - she transported into town every time we wanted and she also picked us up. She also helped us organise trips for a really good price. Pinky and her Mum were so kind, welcoming and friendly and it made the trip and our stay in Luang Prabang fantastic. Breakfast was included and brilliant, everything cooked fresh for you off a menu which you have choice of and can choose as much as you want. Thank you very much!
