The staff was very friendly.

The bed was on a frame that made it two different levels. So half of my body was 1/2 inch higher than the other half.

A comfortable and clean room. There is everything you need in both the room and the hotel. We were so pleased with our stay that we extended our stay. Very suitable for long term stay. It has extremely well-intentioned, friendly and helpful staff.

The room was spacious and clean, even though we didn't use the pool it looked really nice.

There was some serious music noise nearby, I recommend some earplugs.

The room was very comfortable and well set out. We had a small kitchen, loungeroom, bedroom and HUGE bathroom. Plenty on hanging space for clothes. The staff were very helpful whenever we had a question. Large car-park for a hotel in its location. The breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed the options. My wife also had an in-room massage which she said was good and reasonably priced. Pool was very clean and nice for a quick dip.

It can't be fixed but you need to be very careful when leaving their carpark. There are walls all the way to the street and it is impossible to see traffic until you are already in the road.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Was in a great location. Was reletively quiet. Breakfast was great. Plenty of places to eat within 5-10mins walk. Offsite laundry service avaiable as well as onsite if you want to do your own.

Friendly stuff who spoke english very well, big and clean rooms, comfortable bed and all the hotel well taken cared of and decorated. Would definitely come back!

The staff were very friendly and we liked the clean rooms. My wife visited 6 months ago and she was impressed by their improved breakfast. Both Western and Asian (see photos) which we enjoyed. Google Maps gave us a ridiculous route the first time we drove in but we soon found a simpler way in and out. Very narrow streets if you drive but as always the Thai people are very accommodating.

helpful staff, lovely courtyards

the pools were pumped full of freezing water each day and they were too cold to swim in! in the evenings they were a tolerable temperature but by then the sun doesn’t touch the pool areas

Great value in a great location. I thought the room was comfortable - the bed was soft and I got good sleep. The staff were all super nice, friendly, and helpful.

The facilities were a bit dirty. The floor felt very slippery - I almost fell when I walked around with my socks on. So I feel the staff can do a better job cleaning a bit.

Room is spacious and as seen on photos but amenities are generally old.Hot shower with enough pressure, 2 pools looked fine, but I didn’t go.

The room I stayed in had a horrible smell of humidity and the „dehumidifier“ machine in there didn’t do any help, I only stayed for a night, so it was okay but if you are staying longer I can imagine it’s not so good. Also there was a big stain (looked like blood) on the inside of the blanket. The bed was quite saggy and on a softer side.The location is rather deserted, more local.. some cafes, massage places etc within walking distance but if you want to go to old town or Nimman need to take a grab ride for ~10min.

The staff was nice and she let us stored our luggages since we arrived a bit early. Even though I didn’t use the two pools but it looks amazing. I like the 4th floor where it has a table/chairs on the hallway to enjoy and a beautiful garden relaxing balcony area.

This was one of my favorite stays in Thailand :) The staff, the large airy room, the pools, the nice balconies, the price. All amazing.

Loved this place, nice pools, spacious rooms, veeery friendly staff! The staff are the best thing about this place.

I love how friendly the staff are. They also made sure our room was clean and that water and toiletries were refilled. The place has lots of food options and is close to many restaurants, so you can really enjoy trying different dishes nearby.

The Opium was perfect for us and very comfortable. The staff was very sweet and helpful. They even helped us find tours we needed. They granted our every wish, except to give us 2 room keys. (There is only one key per room. Makes it difficult if you have ice cream in the refrigerator, since the room key in a slot keeps the electricity on).

A real gem, super nice staff, good recommendations and programs. Breakfast was continental with very little local twist - but the mama chef really put her heart into it.

It is a bit off from the center - which can also be a plus.

The room was amazing, so big with open space and very comfortable. Housekeeping was certainly on top of things too, and staff were fantastic. Also loved the resident cat - absolutely sweet. I also got put in a room next door to the rooftop with a fabulous view.

Because the gym was open it wasn't so cool but efficient for holiday use. I think the coating on the pool floor may need to be stuck back down or something. I could also hear music until about 1am which wasn't so loud but was enough for me to know it was happening (would not be an issue for a sound sleeper I would imagine).
