Owner was nice. Manager (Mai) was very helpful, welcoming and hospitable. Very thoughtful amenities - Free drinking water, free snacks (24Hrs), Customizable Breakfast - cooked freshly, free cutlery - 24 Hrs.balcony of the room.

Bathroom could be better.

Location, and there was pick and drop service to the airport by the hotel.

My Room on ground floor dint had any view. it was all blocked.

Smokers at breakfast. Noise from surrounding properties. Lots of kids running around. Small leak in ceiling of bathroom.

De Wiang Kum Kam is a great place, quietly located at the end of a small alley and surrounded by 500 year old temples and temple ruins. The staff is really helpful and try everything to make you feel at home. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the old town of Chiang Mai by scooter, which they rent out at the property. Bikes are also available. Breakfast has many options and the pool, although small is a great addition!

The shower head kept moving while taking a shower

A small family owned hotel in the residential area if Chiang Mai.The family is extremely sweet and accomadating. They have a vehicle whch takes you 1 way to the destination of your choice.

Everything! Mai is a gorgeous host. She helps where she can. The place is so adorable and cozy. It is outside of the old town, but for me personally this is a big plus! It is quiet and I can't express in words how much I love the place and the people running it. Thank you for everything!!!!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the rooms are stunning. It’s a little further out from the centre, but a free car will take you wherever you want to go, so it doesn’t matter. Would 100% reccommend staying here ! :)

Excellent value for money. Spacious and clean with a nice pool area. Good breakfast for the money and free transfer into town / from the airport a very welcome extra. The standout feature was just how welcoming and kind the hosts were. They create a really happy atmosphere.

This place is absolutely amazing, I can honestly say this have been one of the best hotels in Thailand I have been to! This place is so special because of the lovely family that is having this hotel and they are so friendly, helping you with a smile with everything, making amazing breakfast for you everyday. The chocolate pancaces were pur favourite.. ? The hotel was also so clean, beautiful and cozy. We loved it! We will be back here in the future when we come to Chiang Mai ??

Property location make me feel so peaceful. Woke up every morning with the sound of bird. Staff very friendly. Nearest with airport and they also have service to pick up and send customer to airport. Service very good.

We have returned to this accommodation for the second time and it is for us the best we have found in the whole of Thailand. We love the staff here, who are so nice and have even driven us into town or to the airport every time. We gave the local gentleman the nickname Thai Johnny Depp ?, he always has a smile on his face and helps with everything. The accommodation is beautiful, clean and the linen smells like it was washed by grandma, we would love to come back again. Thank you for everything, you are the best in all of Thailand!

This is a charming and unique hotel run by a kind and attentive family. Getting a ride into town was super easy and they also helped us with a load of laundry. The kids loved the breakfast and it was so convenient to have snacks like cookies and bananas available anytime.

The shower was moderately warm and the chanting at the nearby Wat occurred every morning at 6 am.

Amazing location with locals, loved it. Explored the local area and hardly saw any tourists. For me its a big plus.

One day came across a group of stray dogs when exploring but only very early in the morning. After 9 am thais clear them out.

The decor was was bad. It was a miss mash of different tiles and materials.

This is such a cute hotel, lots of character and run by a lovely family. The pool is cold but very clean and great for a dip on a hot day. The temple gong rings at 5am but only for about a minute so it didn't disturb our sleep. The hotel went to great effort to help us get around the city and we really appreciated all the rides into the old city every day.

Only that our shower was cold, but it didn't bother us.

The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The rental bike was in great condition and perfect for getting around. While the location is a bit far from the old town, the hotel offers free shuttles, which made it very convenient. Overall, an amazing stay.
