Hotel Sensai Nimman Chiang Mai - Adults Only

The hotel has a very nice ambience and a charming boutique feel. The room itself is well designed and comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly, polite, and helpful throughout the stay. The overall atmosphere is calm and pleasant.

For a five-star boutique hotel in Thailand, the facilities are quite limited. The main issue was the lack of proper bathroom privacy. There is no solid bathroom door—only a curtain separating the bathroom from the room, which does not close properly. This was uncomfortable, especially as we were three brothers sharing the room. Even for adults, proper bathroom privacy is essential. The swimming pool is also quite small and looks much larger in photos. In terms of value for money, there are better hotels available at a similar price point in Chiang Mai.

One male staff member in the lobby (he was mainly standing by the front desk during breakfast) kept staring at me. It made me uncomfortable when I just wanted to enjoy my breakfast in peace. I think all staff should be culturally and ethnically aware so they don’t stare at guests who look different than them. He was the only one who did it. The rest of the staff, especially my check-in the day before was perfect. Professional staff who explained everything to me when he brought me to my room and friendly smiles from the women.

Hotel Sensai was the best hotel we stayed in during our travels around Thailand. The staff go above and beyond here! Upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely welcome drink and were told our room had been upgraded. The room was absolutely amazing! The pool is heated and so nice for relaxing. The breakfast as well as the lunch/dinner food here is incredible. The location of the hotel is also perfect. You can walk to many things and both tours we booked, picked us up right in the hotel lobby. I can't recommend Hotel Sensai enough!

Hotel Sensai is a place that strives for perfection in every minor detail and comes pretty close to achieving it. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Chiang Mai. The neighborhood is full of things to do for tourists and everything is within walking distance.

The downside of a very central location is the noise. Sounds from a neighboring bar kept me up for a couple of nights. Everywhere in Nimman, you can hear the airplanes due to the proximity of the airport. But this is not the fault of the hotel and affects all Nimman properties to some extent.

They organised a birthday surprise for me. Chris and his team gave a really warm welcome on the first day. Breakfast service was really good and the quality of food is really tasty. Building and facilities are really new. Love the vibe of the entire place

There is nothing I don’t like about this hotel.

Small hotel cozy and very comfortable. Small details : welcome cocktail and gift, the bedroom with all facilities, nice balcony facing the swimming pool, nice bar in the lobby where to have nice cocktails.

The breakfast was good and just enough. The staff was amazing, welcoming and attentive to details. We were surprisingly upgraded and every night there was a nice little touch in the room. Khun Duen, Sine were extra nice with us. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one.

There was nothing we did not like

Small but very refined hotel with exceptional service. Our family stayed for 2 nights and felt truly well taken care of. We’d definitely return next time we’re in Chiang Mai.

It’s close to the airport, so you can hear planes. Soundproofing could be better. The double bed shakes a lot with any movement.

Everything, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were so amazing, from the security guard to the cleaners and the reception. Everyone seemed so happy and the stay was absolutely flawless with extras like being upgraded rooms, to the small gifts they give you every day. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Everything was great. The room could maybe do with a small kettle to boil water for tea? I used the hot water from the coffee machine but it had a coffee taste to it. Such a small detail though

Book this hotel now! Everything about those boutique hotel is 1st class. From the moment you arrive, the smiling faces, the incredible welcoming drink, the spacious modern rooms and huge comfortable bed. Room includes free minibar and the most delicious breakfast. Great location just outside old town but easily accessible by a grab. Every night a small gift was left on my bed with a note of a traditional tale.

The pool was gorgeous but perhaps you could have some more modern and a variety of music playing to add to the ambience. The music was very repetitive.

Staff were polite, the cleaning staff always spotless. The attention to details. Everything went smoothly!

The access to the private beach wasn’t included.
