At the Train Hotel Chiangmai

Quiet, clean, good location, and good value.

There was no breakfast.

It's so clean and the staff are helpful, the pool so big and the breakfast is deliciois

I like everything in that hotel but I had dirty clothes I tried to use laundry but it was expensive for me like 25baht per t-shirt and 15baht for underwear..

The reception staff were very friendly.But did not explain that there was a cafe attached to hotel for breakfast.

A bit far away from the centre but very convenient for the train and we arrived at 4am so lovely to have our accommodation waiting for us. Quiet as well.

No one mentioned the breakfast option at check in.We arrived at 4am but had to pay full price for room.Half an hour out of town. Can access til tiki at train station most nights Although there are some bars a few minutes walk frequented by locals who were welcoming.

Excellent place to stay, very clean, quiet and comfortable. Within easy walking distance of the station. Good place to eat at the station at very reasonable prices. would definitely recommend if you need a place to stay before or after your train journey. Also good if you don't want to stay in the middle of town as it's less than half an hours walking distance to the river.

nothing, it was perfect for our needs!

This is a comfortable, reasonably priced hotel adjacent to the railway station, it is a little out of town but does not suffer because of that as the main areas are just 5 m8nute away. Check in was simple, with friendly efficient staff and the room was clean, roomy and comfortable. Can’t ask for more really.

Nothing not to like

The room was nice and quiet, very close to a 7/11 and the train station.

They didn't cleaned the room properly. We had to ask 4 days in a row for them to clean the bathroom which is not normal ! And they only did it once ! Same for the shampoo and shower gel, we had to ask for it daily.

The room was spacious.

The stuff was not very communicative and I did not feel welcomed as a guest. The room itself was okay but in my opinion it‘s not a good value for the price. The beds were hard and not comfortable.

wi-fi didn't work, telephone didn't work, shower had no warm water.I found out the wifi is mounted inside my room, so after some tinkering with cables I managed to fix it bymyself.

Located next to the chiang mai train station so it fit perfectly for those arriving by train and doesn’t want to get robbed by night time local taxi. Bed is comfortable. Room is spacious.

Shower water pressure is too low.

Needed a place to stay for a few hours before my 12 hour train ride to BKK and this hotel definitely hit the spot. Very kind staff and good value for money!

Breakfast was a bit poor though I am not complaining because they made me pay for 1 instead of 2They made me pay 200 Bath for a lost plastic door acces card . Ridiculous.

Most uncomfortable bed I’ve experienced in Thailand (that’s saying something!) I arrived at 4.30am and booked this room to sleep for a few hours before heading to my hotel in the city. I put the do not disturb sign on my door but still someone (a housekeeer I assume) was knocking on the door at 9am and woke me up. Not impressed and I regret staying here as I only stayed to sleep and shower. The bed was uncomfortable, the shower cold and there was no terrace as advertised with the room

We did not stay overnight in this property , only for a few hours between checking out of our hotel and waiting for the overnight train. We wanted somewhere to hang in air con , charging our phones and to have a shower before we boarded the train. For this purpose it was perfect.

The bed was like a rock , so hard , we were glad we did not have to sleep in it.
