Noise from air traffic. Hot water is nonexistent and no cream for coffee.

We loved our stay at Las Orquedias. We were looking for a hotel far from the city center, calm and quiet and this is exactly what we got. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff so nice and friendly.

The only not so nice thing was the comfort of the bed

The staff was exceptional and made my family and I feel right at home. The manager by the name of Yem was so attentive to all our needs and extremely occomodating. At first we had some minor issues but Yem was so freidly that it all got put aside and the remainder of our stay will make us return in the future.

At first we didn't like that the location was distant from all the tourist traps but after a few days we realized the location was ideal for those that want to be away from all the noise and enjoy the peaceful side of Chiang Mai. The bed was very uncomfortable, and as soon as I addressed the issue to Yem, she immediately went out the next day and ordered brand new mattresses for us.

Clean and nice staff but that’s about all.

Old, needing upgrade and far from major shopping. The owner forced us to not be able to use the dining room with AC. What hotel does that ? Stupid !

It was beautiful. Easy, chill, beautiful bungalows.

The family suite should be noted that it’s a completely detached upstairs and a downstairs. Important to note for a family as I thought those rooms were connected.

The staff were absolutely amazing, always friendly and attentive. However, the room lacked proper airflow and felt quite humid, with an occasional unpleasant odour from the bathroom. The location is quite remote, so a scooter is essential to get around. Breakfast was fairly basic and could use some improvement. On the bright side, the pool and the wonderful staff were definite highlights of the stay!

This place is a gem tucked away outside the city. The rooms are Lanna style and our room had a great little pool out front in an enclosed garden space. The room was comfortable and although it was dark, we just opened the shutters during the day to let more light in. The facilities at the hotel were great- the pool was well located and even had a pool bar. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We came with friends and all of us enjoyed both the Thai and western food so much that we just ate at the hotel every night. We all have different tastes and everyone was happy each evening with all the choices on the menu. The overall best part of the hotel was by far the staff. Archie and Diana made us feel as though we were part of their family. They even went so far as to put tougher a Christmas dinner for our group of friends. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and looked after us so well. They helped arrange trips around Chiang Mai, entertained the children, and told great stories!I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a quiet place outside the city with great food and a lovely atmosphere.

We liked everything about our stay. If you book, make sure you understand that you are not in the city centre (but can easily get there with Grabs). Also, if you do have any issues, just let the staff know and they will fix it right away.

We like just staff. All of them are so nice, friendly and want to help you.

Our room. It was that we didn't expect. In description on booking, room was with garden view window. But in reality, the window with downstairs view. That's why, inside the room, there is no natural light. We felt like in the basement. Unpleasant.

The traditional Thai style houses located in a quiet place. Bikes for rent free of charge. Restaurant within the resort which is convenient. Laundry services are provided by the resort. Alternatively, there are a few wash & dry shops in 5 minutes walk. Most staff can speak English fluently and some can speak Thai or Burmese.

Insects are common. WiFi are weak in some areas.

I like the cafe, the swimming pool, the general environment of the place. Above all, I like the excellent service of the staff there. The location is not near the city, so some people may not like it. It works for me, as I was there for a personal retreat and just wanted a place to chill. It has all the self-contained facilities.The resort is also very well-priced.

The 10% discount for food and beverages that is advertised on Booking.com is only applicable for one meal, no matter how many days you stay there. I felt that was a bit misleading.The water heater died on my second night there. They were kind to allow me to use another room for shower.

Rooms are kept clean and the house keeping are doing a great job.Shuttle from airport timely and convenient.Some good restaurants and cafes on walking distance from the hotel.

Breakfast was not very exciting, and although there was still one hour left on the service items were not replaced once finished.Credit card payment not convenient, many additional charges, and for payments below 1000 THB ie. in restaurant or cafe there is a 10 USD surcharge for using card.

The staff were so friendly and Diana at the front desk went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcome! She booked our tours for us and gave us some good advice. Just overall a positive energy at the front desk.The breakfast was good. The first day was a bit disappointing but the next few days just got better with nicer tastier options to choose from.I also think the property is cute, pretty and has a romantic vibe with small cute coffee tables and chairs everywhere.

I was a little disappointed in how far the resort was from the city center :( we spent most of our money on getting transport to and from the town.Our room was also really dark. This is just a personal issue as I like a lot of natural light shining into the room and we couldn't see much unless we turned on the lights.

Very pleasant staff in a pleasant place. A motorbike is really useful if you want to go to the city (15/20min).

The location was beautiful. The staff was so supportive.

Everything was perfect. However resort can have more vegetarian dishes in their restaurant.

The staff was beyond our expectations. Great English, very professional, accommodating and caring.We had the opportunity to stay in one of the villas and the ambience was completely amazing. You can feel so in touch with the nature, the room was very spacious and clean, with a perfect AC, and fan which helps in case you find mosquitoes around, washroom was well maintained with good water pressure and luckily we had our own pool.You can find bicycles in the entrance that you can use to explore the area. There is a 7-eleven nearby, coffee shops, temples, and everything is no more than 10 minutes by bike.The Hotel offers an all day dining restaurant indoor and outdoor, a coffee shop and service by the pool if you feel to enjoy your afternoon swimming. All food is delicious and highly recommended.For the common areas, they offer a smoking designated area as it’s not allowed to do it inside the rooms. But the gem is the main pool, which is perfect for families as well. Goes from the .5m to 1.7m in the deepest side.It would be great to note that as it’s little bit far from the center it’s more recommended for people who is traveling with their own vehicles, however we were fine using Grab and prices were reasonable.We had an amazing experience. It’s been our best stay in Thailand so far. Our biggest appreciation to all the staff, you made us feel so special.

Quite far from the downtown.

Very relaxed atmosphere, comfortable rooms and good food. I was upgraded to a pool villa for the last night, due to a large incoming group.

The only annoyance was the light right outside the window that shone into the room at night.Occasionally there was the sound of a plane flying over, but it didn't really bother

A small resort, location between nowhere, in rural village, no Grab, very hard to call taxi. Lot of mosquitos. Not many amenities.
