    Pros +

    • One of the best hotels in Chiang Mai in this price category. Beautiful, rare Thai teak architecture. Everything comfortable, like staying in Jim Thompson's house. Worth it to pay the extra for the pool access rooms.
    • The staff, the young man at the counter was extremely kind as was everyone else who helped me! The room was picturesque and so clean. Morning breakfast was delicious! So very close to chiangmai intl, you could walk if your luggage was light weight.
    • Beautiful Thai architecture. Beautiful clean salt-water pool. Comfortable bed. Great location

    Cons -

    • No, i stayed two nights and was a bit bummed to have to leave
    • -
    • It¿s almost perfect except it could be improved by asking guests not to smoke in their patios and balconies: instead setting aside separate smoking areas where smokers must smoke so they don¿t disturb other guests.

Beautiful Thai architecture, clean pool, great location next to Kadmanee Market and restaurants, comfortable beds, 2 minutes from the airport and from Old Town walls. Compared to other budget hotels, this is the best. I recommend pool access rooms!

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-3-2023

The best small hotel experience in Chiang Mai? Beautifully carved Thai architecture, comfortable beds and sheets, beautiful salt water pool¿ convenient location 2 minute walk from Kadmanee Market.

It¿s almost perfect except it could be improved by asking guests not to smoke in their patios and balconies: instead setting aside separate smoking areas where smokers must smoke so they don¿t disturb other guests.

Everyone visiting Thailand should stay here a few days. The most authentic Thai experience you can have. It¿s a, ¿must experience¿ small hotel between old town and the airport! Wonderful carved Thai teak wood¿ beautiful salt water pool.

Two days of our stay, other guests were smoking in the patio next to ours. As they were chain-smoking, we couldn¿t enjoy our patio. Ideally the hotel would create a non smoking area (on the other side of the pool?) so non-smokers don¿t suffer.

    10WilliamPosted on: 8-28-2023

    Beautiful pure Thai architecture

Sometimes, other guests smoke in their private patios which disturbs neighboring guests. I¿d prefer to hotel create a smoking area that doesn¿t disturb other guests.

    Helpful staff. Nice place.

Not near restaurants, etc. Not a bad walk, but this does limit the hotel. Not just here, but this happens over and over in Thailand - tell the staff you do not eat meat and then get a big plateful of meat at breakfast. This was corrected, but I just wish they would write it down once.

Amazing property, very good facilities and service. Very close to the airport so very quiet.

The location is not the best for walking so you need to take a taxi if you want to get out

Great stay, only stayed one night and moved to a hotel closer to the walled square but wished we had stayed here the whole time. Wasn’t that much further and the staff was wonderful. Great pool too

Lovely boutique hotel, staff clearly care about the property

Pool was very cold, and bit of a walk into old town but convenient for the airport

    10NormanPosted on: 2-9-2025

A cosy little hotel close to the airport. Built out of teak, nice pool.

    8RobPosted on: 2-8-2025

Good location close to the airport. Around 3km away from Old Town. Around 100-120 baht in. Grab. The staff were nice and would bring us fruit or mango sticky rice treats when we were e hanging around the hotel for the day.A nice clean pool - albeit very cold! They could see we were drinking lots of water so provided us extra without asking. A great food market around the corner with enough variety for it to rival any of the bigger ones.

The only issue for us was that noise travels very easily through the building. We were in a poolside room and could hear the person above us marching around like they were in the infantry. Other than that, it's all good

The room is clean and furniture with good quality. Very Thai style, beautiful swimming pool.

The curtain cannot shade well, the room is not dark enough when you are sleep

Wonderful place, exceeded my expectations. Clean, friendly, well managed. Large clean room with direct pool access. So peaceful. I very much appreciated the easy walking distance to the wonderful Kadmanee Market as well as the Rimping supermarket from the hotel. Will be happy to stay here again.
