It rain on the day so can’t go out , hotel was quiet.t

The wifi v poor disruption every hour . Breakfast not appealing ,cold could hv more choices. On the whole everything looks v old so r the staff talk non stop.

Big room and good location

Inside room have many cocroch. Management hotel must take action how to clearance insect in bedroom

1)Great location2) triple room was great having somewhere to sit down that wasn't just the beds. 3) The staff were friendly.

1) the shower heads were blocked and let hardly any water through.2)The hot water unit in the triple room wasn't working properly so the water was cold. 3) The included breakfast was terrible. Very little on offer and what was there was cold in the bain-marie. The toast was sweet bread only and the juice was undrinkable.4) The pool had broken tiles on the bottom of the pool and the water was questionable in terms of cleanliness- there was a brown mass in the water.

Great place to stay! Location is pretty good. The room was good and for the price it has good value. We stayed there twice. Before the Mae Hong Son Loop and after we finished it. The pool was pretty good. The shower had good pressure. The staff was friendly and very helpfull. Clean rooms and the washing lady was really polite and good at her job. We left 50 baht in the room for her every morning and she really made our room clean and fresh. Free water. Good aircon and WiFi. The fridge worked as it should. We had breakfast included and it was pretty good. Lots of fresh eggs every morning. I would stay here again for sure. 8/10

The bed could be softer, but after all we are in Thailand. All in all it wasn't that bad. But if you have back problems than you should maybe look for another room or hotel. (I give the bed 6/10) I've had a lot worse beds in Thailand. Other than that I can't say anything negative.

Very poor breakfast, not enough selection cold food very disappointing… I stayed in Chiang mai gate hotel for 2 week much better breakfast!!

Great location, nice spacious room and bathroom, very comfortable bed.

Breakfast was just about passable - not much thought given to it. Butter was cooking margarine and the ‘jam’ looked like some kind of nuclear waste! Other hotels in similar areas of similar standards have offered a much more interesting breakfast, so it’s not just a ‘Thai thing’ The pool area is tired and uncared for. Stayed 6 days and never saw anyone clean or tidy the area ? only three sun loungers and each were old, broken slightly rotting wood with nails protruding. It’s a shame as the hotels actually quite nice .

Room was very spacious and huge bed. Pool was nice with sun on it all day. Staff very helpful. Would stay again.

Bathroom could use a bit of work but usable. Pool furniture is TERRIBLE. Breakfast is TERRIBLE.

The hotel needs a fresh up, the WiFi was way too slow. The breakfast was ok. What’s good was the location though.

I have been staying at this hotel regularly since 2015 and have always found it to be great value for money. The staff are friendly and it’s location on the moat is convenient for all you need.

Some upkeep and maintenance is needed. Things like only half the bulbs working. It is still a great hotel but it is probably due a revamp.

Shame there are no balconies in this hotel.I feel also it's a little bit over priced.

Leaking sink all down one side causing a BIG puddle over part of the wash area.Reported and moved to different room and no problem after.

Location was very convenient to walk around old town and even go to various sites. The hotel had a taxi service so ask them in advance.

We had family rooms. Mine was not comfortable as the toilet is oddly placed. No hooks in the bathroom so overall not very comfy. Breakfast was very cold as the burners were always off. Coffee was cold too. Food was the same everyday except one morning and taste was disappointing.

The Elephant trip they have is great ?. No chains no riding no tricks.

The hotel is located near Tha Phae Gate in the old city. Great location. The staff was very helpful and met all our needs. They helped with reservations for cars, requests for specific items for rooms, always greeted us with a smile.

For the price, I can't think of anything I didn't like. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel.

Most uncomfortable hotel in the world. I’d rather sleep on a park bench.

Everything. To start the bed felt like sleeping on the tiled floor. My nans coffin had more padding than that bed did. Luckily found a storage room unlocked so stole about 100pillows & quilts to sleep on to make the night bare-abel . One staff member was rude, would not replace a towel or even let me use the outside shower by the pool once I had checked out and told me ‘to shower on the bus’ ?I wouldn’t feed the breakfast to my dog. Looked like it was left over from the night before.

Room is nice Good location

Shower is not good , very weak and not enough hot water.They told me I can smoke on the pool area but they closed the pool area at night so had to smoke on the street wich wasn't cool
