    Pros +

    • Staff was great, location good.
    • Hotel staff very kind. The rooms are big and clean. The hotel is renovated. Sometimes you can hear the voices of the people in the hotel when they pass in the hall, but after reaching the canera it is quiet. It is very close to everything, restaurants, laundry, cafe and attractions. recommend
    • Excellent location - just a few minutes away from a market(s) (in the morning it's clothes and fresh market, in the evening it's a night market), but also in a quiet street allowing us to sleep with open windows every day. The room was exactly how advertised, in a good shape and extremely spacious.

    Cons -

    • Sorry to say...Chinese are buying many hotels, lowering Thai standards and leaving with money spent in Thailand, Romana Included!
    • They have a restaurant but it isn't working.
    • The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which is uncomfortable. Also, when leaving the room, you must take the key with you, which turns off all electricity—including the fridge.

The hotel is conveniently located near the South Gate market, with most city attractions within walking distance. We arrived early, paid in cash, and left our luggage near the reception while exploring the area before check-in. The room was standard, featuring a wardrobe, fridge, and a long counter desk. It was clean and quiet. An unusual detail for us was the sink placed inside the room, separated by a partition. The toilet and shower were clean, with regular housekeeping.A convenient button near the door allows guests to signal "Do Not Disturb" or request cleaning. The hotel also has an elevator. The staff was polite and attentive. The window view overlooked a quiet part of the city and the mountains, with a stunning sunset.

The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which is uncomfortable. Also, when leaving the room, you must take the key with you, which turns off all electricity—including the fridge.

The location of the hotel strategic.. easy to access to central, easy to call cab and have a lot of shop nearby

It’s good in general, clean and tidy. Great location!

They only receive cash, which is VERY inconvenient. The AC is centralized, so the room gets way too cold, specially at night.

It has nice location near night market and super market It looked clean

There is no option to pay with a credit card Ripped sheets Bathroom had no curtain

    All good

2 times in same kind of room on same floor but 2nd time no small light by the bed, no table (kind off) near sink and unfortunately this airco makes lot's of noise. But it's a really good place and i did not complain about it. But same room should be... same room.

Great location and very nice staff.

Matress and pillows were hard. No beside lamps so we had to use the ceiling lamp when reading at night.

Very nice staff and ery good location! Near tourist attractions, 7-11, night market, local food shop, laundry shop, good cafe, hospital etc. Easy to go anywhere. And the room is very comfy.

No laundry service at night and there were few power outlets in the room. But overall, I was impressed with this hotel.

Great room but bed needs proper pillows and mattress topper.

Bed had latex ie rubber pillow and mattress topper and smelled of ....rubber. because rubber doesn't breathe it felt clamy and a little sticky. Room was quite dark.

Great location near Chiang Mai gate. Check-in staff is friendly and rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds, seating areas, large TV’s with free WiFi at speeds at 50-60 mbps. Covered parking for cars and motorbikes. The area is has lots of dining, coffee shops, motorbikerentals, and Thai massage shops. This hotel is a good value for a stay in Chiang Mai.

Reception was helpfull and polite. Room is big but not luxurions. For tge price it seems to be okay. I d8dn't find the pillow comfy, need to be bigger. Bed was okay. Nothing spectacular. For budget visitirs its good enough. AC worked well.

Late check in at 14:00. If you want to check in before, there is a 300baht fee. Bed and pillows could have been better.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Rooms are designed with a somewhat minimal but vintage-looking style. The Hotel is near the city's South gate and has easy access to the city and restaurants—ample amount of parking available.

Breakfast is okay but not much variety or flavor.

    10CeciliaPosted on: 4-24-2024

Hotel has everything for your stay. Toiletries, water, coffee, kettle, hair dryer and fridge.Parking is good.Location is good and plenty of eateries and hawker fare. Massage opposite hotel is good .Breakfast is excellent with buffet selection.Highly recommended for very good price. We stay 2 nights.

A hotel clean, very large room with twin beds and it comes with everything especially kettle and hair dryer. Comfortable and breakfast is excellent with reasonable buffet selection.

Great location, close to the Saturday night walking Street Market

Cash only. The room came with breakfast but the breakfast wasn't that great IMO

Really good location, nice big rooms and well maintained.

Noise travelled quite a lot through the corridors, Breakfast was so so.

    8JordanPosted on: 2-11-2024

Convenient location. Very good for the price.

Needed to check out early (around 7 AM) and nobody was at the desk. I ended up waiting 20 minutes for somebody to turn up. If they provided an easy way to drop off key cards and instructions this would have made it a lot easier.
