Kodchasri Thani Hotel Chiangmai

Room good size and bathroom clean enough. The packed breakfast was best.

The AC was loud and depending on time of day bad smells not sure where they were coming from like from someone else bathroom. There are wild life on the property and very loud at night. Like screaming sounds impossible to fall asleep.

Large room with great bd unique furniture. The breakfast was exceptional. Enjoyed the main floor relaxing area, the museum and the shrine, swimming pool as well. Daily room cleaning was wonderful.

Breakfast was fantastic, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and immaculate. Looked out into the garden with a terrace and had friendly cats hanging around. The garden area was spacious and there were so many different spots to sit and relax. A tranquil retreat within the old town. I would definitely come back.

We had two double rooms with connected door, which was great for our family. There was no balcony though, which could be a nice addition... The staff was perfect, available, nice and helpful! The location is good within the old city, with a few small restaurants within walking distance, with good massage place and 7/11 right next door.

The breakfast was OK, but could have a bit more vegetables and cheese selection.

The place was too noisy..

Very difficult to get any rest because it was To noisy from other guests .. talking throughout the night .. how do you even seem like you could hear the laundry facility..

Nice pool, large rooms, friendly staff and great location. Very good breakfast. Lunch was good, reasonable prices.

Beds are very firm.

Good breakfast with fresh egg preparations and a buffet with a wide choice in thai or western dishes. The location was perfect if you want to stay the historical center although there was some music audible from nearby bars. The room was huge with good airco and clean. The mattress was quite hard which i prefer but could be an issue for people who prefer soft. We noticed one huge cockroach near the ground floor lift but it's in open air so unavoidable...

At breakfast there was only coffee from a pot, i personally prefer a machine where you can get a capuccino or espresso. The breakfast seating area was partly outside next to the pool so the artificial grass carpet was sometimes wet. The tables and chairs were slightly outdated and not the most comfortable. Some of the bed linen was torn and slightly worn. Some music was audible from nearby bars but the aircon was one of the quietest we had throughout Thailand.

The staff were nice and courteous. The management was quick to respond when we complained about our room and moved us to another, which was more comfortable and quieter.

The noise level from outside the hotel. It seemed to be a nightclub nearby.

The bad is too hard ,but when we complain on it they put a soft cover so it became better.

It's a great hotel with beautiful grounds. There are many opportunities for photos just on the property. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a wide variety of items included. The staff are friendly and helpful too, especially the front desk staff member with the nickname "Nancy."

Large, comfortable and clean room. Good location within the old city, allowing us to walk everywhere of interest. Decent choices at breakfast - best was the selection of fresh fruit

This is a really nice hotel ideally located for easy walking around the old quarter within the city walls.Our room was large enough for our 5 night stay and we had a lovely veranda looking onto the gardens which was great to sit out on. The staff are really friendly and very helpful.Breakfast is very good with lots of choices and variety, also very tasty.I would recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Chiang Mai.

The configuration of the pool area is a bit weird meaning that the seating area is very restricted with only 2 loungers and 4 chairs within the location. Additionally, there are no umbrellas meaning that there is no shade from approximately 1200 onwards at the pool.

Highly recommend the hotel! Excellent location within the old city, beautiful and spacious rooms, high level of cleanliness, delicious and varied breakfast. Friendly and courteous staff.

Wonderful hotel, very conveniently located. Furniture not new but very well kept for the price.No complaints.

It was an oasis with beautiful gardens and swimming pool and outdoor lounge areas. Clean with good breakfast.

The bed was extremely hard but we slept.

Breakfast was fresh and tasty with varied choice changing each day. There was so much to choose from we kept some of the sweet delicacies back to our room to enjoy later in the day!The staff were helpful and friendly, so polite and accommodating, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome.The undercover lounge area was a surprise bonus, a serene and cool space to relax with koi swimming and the sound of water fountains creating a beautiful atmosphere.The pool was a good size and temperature, clean and surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.

Bed too hard and room was small but large balcony and fantastic lounge area gave lots of extra space.

This place is nicer in real life than in pictures, it’s a beautiful oasis in a excellent location and quiet too, loved spending our days here and the staff were kind and excellent too, the price is so good for this places

Nothing, loved everything

The location was excellent. It was so easy to get around Chiang Mai from this location, either by walking or Grab or taxi. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The pool was refreshing, long enough to do a few laps, and the gardens around it gave the interior a very relaxing, calm feel. You could forget you were in the middle of a large city. There was a very good buffet breakfast, and the room was very comfortable.We liked that it was not a huge resort and that it felt like you were in Thailand with Thai hospitality, not in an international hotel that could be anywhere in the world. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it to others who are travelling to Chiang Mai.
