    • The breakfast was great! The staff is so helpful and kind. The place is even more beautiful in real life and the dorm bed was so comfy. Honestly the best hostel I’ve ever experienced so far !
    • We loved the room. It's spacious, very clean, and the bed is so big and comfortable. The location is perfect, it's a walking distance to everything you need. There's a food market every night nearby. The neighborhood is quite and safe. You can also do your self service laundry at the space and it's cheap. The staff was nice. Thank you Sherva101 team. Cons -

    • I did not like the shower being at the same room with the toilet
    • The bed is short. The lounge close after 10 pm.
    • the staff isn’t the most knowledgeable when it comes to organizing some activities

Very cute place in general, with a garden and a hammock, a nicely decorated lobby and clean rooms. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit and noodles, egg, waffles, toast every day, and the staff was always helpful and super nice even when communication was a little difficult at times. Location was great, in a quiet and green side Alley, right outside the historic city gates and with a street food market and a 7/11 a 3 minute walk away. Bonus points for the drink shop run by an older lady right next to the hostel, got iced drinks there for 35THB and always had a nice chat with her. The hostel was also fine with us sitting in the garden after hours and having a beer and a laugh with other travellers, and they also got our room ready super fast when we showed up early on check-in day. The hostel also has the very best receptionist I have ever met, super friendly and cuddly, 10/10 (he was a very sweet black and white cat) Would definitely recommend this place

The wifi was very bad. Didn't work at all in the room and badly in the lobby. The bathroom also smelled like sewers when we first moved in. It got better but then smelled like urine (?) for the rest of the stay. The trashcans were cleaned daily with was very good, but the maintainance team left the door wide open while cleaning, so there were always tons of mosquitos in the room when we came back (the rooms open directly to the garden, without a hallway etc. In between, so the mosquitos just float in as soon as you open the door) Each night was mosquito hunt because of this. There is a washing machine where you can wash a lot of clothes for 40THB but it only washes cold and I think my clothes came out dirtier than they went in. Alternatively, for 60THB/kg You can drop your clothes at the reception and they will send them to the wash. The standard room (not the deluxe room) was also very dark bc it only had one narrow window which looked over the lightless space between two buildings. So definitely some room for improvement there. I would still recommend staying here despite this, because we had a lovely stay here, the people are great, the beds are comfy, and the location is very good.

The garden is so cosy (with mosquito spray) and staff r so friendly. Mattresses are from Sealy I think - best sleep in Chiang Mai lol. Private room has such a cool room layout too.

No cannabis, 1 ply toilet paper (balanced out by the sheer quantity of an entire industrial roll tho)

The garden was beautiful and there were lots of nice sports to chill in. The free breakfast was super good. I loved that they had free drinking water as well. The owner of the hostel was so lovely and he spoke great English and was super helpful. I would definitely recommend in staying here.

I wish there was a floor squeegee in the bathroom so you could get rid of access watering after showering. A night lamp and some more shelving space in the room for unpacking your things would have been ideal. Other than that I can't think of anything else I would change.

Very nice outdoor area to sit and relax, loved the hammocks, location close to night markets and the main sights

Breakfast was limited, rooms very small

    8AlisonPosted on: 1-29-2025

Location was good, also loved the water bottle refill station and free coffee

All the fixtures in the bathroom were in need of replacement, everything was sort of hanging on by a thread… not a particularly friendly vibe in the hostel. small room, firm bed. It is fine for a night or two.

Friendly atmosphere attractive & well located, great value for money in a good location. All we could have wanted really.. Great to have access to tea &coffee making facilities & fresh cold water.. Will be back.Thank you!

Very helpful and welcoming staff, nice breakfast included, pleasant and peaceful surroundings. Beds were comfortable and featured nice touches like a little shelf and enough space to hang towels and clothes. Of all the hostels I stayed in, this was one of the best in terms of private space. The front desk are super helpful with all queries and organise very, very reasonably priced shuttles between the hostel and various locations. I booked my travel to Pai with them for an incredible rate!

Dorms are quite small, pretty cramped for 4 people. I think privates are better in this place. Cleanliness needs attention. The shared bathroom was almost always dirty which I think is due to there being no separation between any of the shower and toilet facilities. I would like to suggest this as quite a necessary amendment to management. The en suites in the dorm are also very small so the lack of separation between toilet and shower becomes an even bigger issue. I also felt the WC facilities were lacking in number.Rooms and common areas could have been cleaned more regularly. Not sure that the dorms were checked daily but I was out a lot so can’t confirm.I didn’t report this to management but there were quite a few weird stains on the walls around my bed. Didn’t really bother me, but some guests may find this a bit disturbing.

This hostel is a godsend. I was beyond grateful to be accommodated last-minute, and they even went out of their way to make sure I can self check in considering that my flight arrived after midnight and check in has already closed. The included breakfast was good and substantial. The little garden in the middle of the hostel was a refreshing oasis. The rooms were bright and very clean, including the ensuite bathroom, my bed very comfortable. They hosted a fun krathong-making session during the Loy Krathong Festival. There were many nice corners to relax in.

Location and the property is in the local living area, quiet, big garden and lobby for you to rest. Extra bathroom if you don’t want to wait for others in the room.

Beg bugs from the bed of the property, my body still itchy and swollen after 4 days check out from the property. Them manager didn’t make any compensation to me even thought I have show him my beg bug infection area. The pharmacy said is bed bug bites and the cream I bought can’t help the itch.

Good place to stay in Chiang Mai. Walking distance from old town and many attractions. Breakfast was good, room size was very good, and location was particularly good. Laundry facility at very low cost was a great gesture. The mattress was very springy, not an issue with us but it can bother a few.Amount of natural light the room gets is really good, plenty of windows.

The bathroom size compared to the room was small (which makes it unusable after shower for a few hours). Also, there was no floor mat outside the bathroom which caused the floor getting wet every time we came out of shower.

Ver comfortable, clean, beautiful room and common areas. Staff also good and polite!

The breakfast could be a little bit healthier (excluding non processed food), even tough still good!

    8Pei J.Posted on: 12-30-2024

The room was much cleaner than expected, the staff were very friendly, and the common areas had great natural lighting. It’s rare to find a courtyard with a view, making it perfect for sitting, relaxing, and soaking up the sun.

We stayed in a deluxe double room. As mentioned in other reviews, the bathroom water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, and the air conditioner was very noisy. The hotel didn’t provide slippers, so it’s best to bring your own. Additionally, perhaps due to environmental considerations, the trash bins didn’t have plastic liners, which could lead to residual odors and dirt.

A nice quiet gem. Chill ambiance. Nice breakfast included. Super nice and helpful staff.

Very comfortable bed. I'm not a big fan of ensuite bathrooms. But there is also one in the hallway. It is super quite here, slept like a baby. I missed a chair to sit on in the female dorm, but there is no room anyway. There are lockers. Great breakfast. Lovely vibe. Clean. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Staff, staff and staff. They are extremely friendly and nice. Decoration is beautiful and garden is lovely. It’s very cozy the whole place. Located on a very quiet street so you can chill and relax.

Like previous reviews: they could improve the cleaning. The bin in the bathroom should covered by a plastic bag so the dirty stains can be removed and do not smelly. I had the bed bugs during my stay there even though they changed the mattress and cleaned everything still a very awfully experience! Because the bathroom is in the room and every time when someone takes a shower it got wet everywhere so the room is pretty humid besides no open window to air out.Breakfast is ok. I had salad twice not fresh and it cames from the leftover from yesterday. I hope the manager should really take serious about this issue. Recommended for short stay like one or two days but not for a longer stay.
