KIRI Hotel Chiang Mai

Very nice, modern and clean in the center of Chiang Mai

Extremely well located. Classic city hotel with all the basics you need while also being well located to walk around the city. The staff was extremely patient and helpful with us, they could not have been kinder.

Situated in a quiet area but close to Tha Phae Gate. Nice clean rooms. I stayed there for a five nights and had a very comfortable stay. Everyone at the hotel greeted me with a big smile.

Nothing, it’s perfect!

The hotel is located in a central area within the old city, about a 20-minute walk from Chiang Mai's night market.The room was clean, quiet and large.The staff was very nice, you can also borrow an umbrella from the hotel at the reception.

The breakfast was a bit expensive compared to Chiang Mai, 250 baht per person, so we didn't take it.

Lack of a closet

Location is wonderful if you want to stay in the old part of the city. Easy walk to everything. Staff were outstanding.

Unfortunately there was construction and the property lane was often blocked off.

Kiri Hotel was very well located within the walled part of the city. It was a quaint boutique type hotel that had good amenities.

I felt some of the toiletries were basic or non-existent. For example there was only one small (sliver) of basic bar soap and a tiny bottle of shampoo. Many hotels have moved to refillable dispensers and that would have been nice. Towels were also very basic and you had to ask for more when housekeeping came around.

Our home in Chiang Mai. It is located on one of the small streets inside the wall so it’s quiet but still a walking distance from everything. The hotel personnel are wonderful.

Lovely modern hotel in the heart of Chang Mai. Facilities were excellent along with a fantastic staff.

Cute small hotel with great design. Very friendly staff - everybody was super friendly and spoke very good English. I also liked the small but nice breakfast selection - much better than putting everything out and letting it go to waste. The room design was also super nice - very clean and modern design.

The sound insulation of the rooms is not to European standards. I had booked the largest room category but even there you could hear the neighbours from the next room easily. Thankfully, the very nice hotel management moved me up to the penthouse room to accommodate for that, but I assume that the sound insulation is even more of an issue in the regular rooms.

The hotel was in a safe and central location to visit all attractions and restaurants. The staff was friendly and always ready to help us with any queries and to book taxis. The room was spacious but could do with more hangers. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and well worth the money and a choice to sit outside. The pool was nice to relax at the end of the day.

So clean modern and nice!Great location too, easy to get everywhere. We stayed in a poolside room, definitely worth it! The hotel is small but the rooms aren’t and the breakfast options are great!

The reception is not 24hrs but there is security so it’s okay. Make sure you don’t check in after 11 PM.

No breakfast, not even coffee n fruit. Had to buy a Baht250 buffet breakfast. I was only guest whole time I was there, which shows how popular it is?. Kiri Hotel should offer free coffee, biscuits n bananas like some other hotels are doing.

The location was perfect for us. The staff were very good and responsive, the room and the property were very clean. The balcony was also great to have a glass of wine at night, when the temperature were cooler.

Additional storage for clothes would have been very welcome. A suggestion would be to have an additional dresser or a wardrobe for hanging clothes and perhaps some wall hooks. The bathtub was in an unpractical location and was not used.
