E-outfitting Doikham Resort

The hotel provided a free shuttle to the city and the resort had a very natural setting.

The overpriced rooms were dirty and old. The shower only had a small curtain that didn't reach the floor, causing the bathroom to flood whenever we showered. Our room was not cleaned when we returned and the hotel charged us extra for the room we booked.

Great location and beautiful hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Would definitely come again!

It's a bit far from the city centre, but worth it.

The green open space is beautiful.

“Too far” for transportation. The pool and other areas were not available and breakfast was always cold.

The staff were absolutely lovely especially Nichanan Thongkham. She couldn't do enough for us. So friendly and helpful considering the run down state of the hotel.Our bed was comfy, plenty of space for clothes.

It was terribly run down and clearly not being looked after.Pool wasn't filled up, ants everywhere (although we were out in the sticks) We had to move rooms as there was no running water to our room. Next room only the rain shower worked but that was OK. Breakfast was passable. Miles from anywhere you need a car, which luckily we had.Such a shame as the reviews were good when we booked it was back last year but it's clearly gone to seed. But you could see it was once a beautiful place. What a waste wouldn't be surprised if it closes soon. Hardly anyone was stating there.

Stay here was comfortable and staff was lovely.. They hosted us so good.. Food in hotel is also good. Ll recommend to stay here.

The location is quiet, and not too far from the city center (20 mins taxi ride). The resort is great!

The rooms were improperly cleaned, and the place needs some good maintenance.

We loved this peaceful getaway from the city centre, surrounded by trees. Transport was very easy to get around using bolt (cheaper) or grab.

I wouldn't book it if you wanted to use the pool - water was very dirty when we stayed however it did get better throughout our stay.

The property is perfect for anyone trying to get away from the city and being slightly more rural. The breakfast was limited but just what we wanted, the restaurant is good value for money and the staff were excellent.

Expect to see a few creepy crawlies as this place is nestled in the forest.

Swimming Pool was good, quiet location

Door to room wouldn't shut at all, lock damaged and not repaired. The entire location is falling to bits.

Beautiful pool area, very quiet and luscious with beautiful mountain view and trees and tropical birds around. The garden is wonderfully maintained. The staff is very kind.

Don't like to be negative as the place is excellent but will say the rooms are tired that's all I'll say

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Receptionist Felix booked the taxi for us through his Bolt app and borrowed the money for the taxi as we going to exchange money. Breakfast was very good including Thai and continental choices. Our room was nice and quiet as we wanted exactly. Housekeeping comes every day. There are some cats and I observed they prepared food for them. It was lovely to see that.

Location near to the temple, quite in the jungle, cozy and peaceful atmosphere, very friendly and helpful crew, cats (especially one gray cat!)

Airconditioner seemed not to work, it was a bit cold and humid in some rooms.

The garden is amazing. Rooms are big with a nice balcony.

The rooms are humid and feel cold because there's no direct sun.The facilities are not well maintained. The pool looks dirty. The furniture in the room is very old. Won't book again. Breakfast is very basic. Very far from Old Town.

Resort employees are really helpful. Especially, their English is clear and nice.Foods are also good. Taste is acceptable and delicious. Eco friendly environment.

The breakfast buffet was nice.

Too quiet and isolated. The rooms are outdated and water is brown and smells of rust.

The hotel was pleasant, the staff were kind and polite setting was pretty.

Photos are very old on booking.comRooms are very basic, and very little sunlight can get through to the rooms, which did mean it was damp.I booked a deluxe room with a balcony but got a standard with no balcony. When I asked about this, I was told I was wrong, I did get moved to the correct room the following day.Breakfast was chicken nuggets and eggs alongside local food. Luckily, we like the thai food.Grabs were not available, so we hired a car, I would recommend hiring a car if you want to get about it. The jacuzzi wasn't working and the bar at the pool wasnt open once in our 3days, not sure if that's because December is a quiet month and they don't have staff ?

peaceful and nice pool area, nice forest area and gardens pleasant. I liked the size of the room and it was comfortable. Food in restaurant decent

location a little far from Chiang Mai centre but I had a car.....it would be too far without transport.there was a snake in the main communal area when I got there....I had fun getting a video of it. it wasn't big and I've no idea if it was dangerous, but if you are scared of snakes, this hotel might be one to avoid...it is in a forest area!!
