We had a fantastic 6 night stay at the Grand Oriental Suite. Spacious room with an elegant bathroom. They prepared a complimentary cake for our honeymoon and decorated the bed with floral petals.They also offer lana-style pajamas for your stay.Perfect location, with almost all attractions within a walking distance. Bicycles available to use for free. 7 eleven 4-minutes away.Good breakfast choices. The french toast is a definite highlight.

Beautiful rooms and they did a really good job of integrating nature into the hotel! Rooms were very clean!

Water temperature of the shower was pretty variable, and in the oriental suite (where my parents stayed, it was really hard for them to get in and out of the tub/shower) to important to note for people with mobility issues. I was also a little weirded out/a strange choice for them to have very large pictures/art of African elephants in the room when so many people come to see Asian elephants here in Chiang Mai… they are pretty different looking so that was a little funny/weird… I was also woken by the roosters at 5 am, though it wasn’t too bad/loud…

Excellent facility with extremely welcoming staff always ready to support every need. Stand-out is its breakfast and the size of the room itself, and also a large bathroom/shower. Fast wifi and the complimentary happy hour every day is a nice bonus

This is not smack in the middle of the city, but a 15 minute leisurely stroll to old-town, so just be aware - you need to cross a few roads for you to reach the inner city. If the facilities like pool and gym are very important for your stay, might want to reconsider - while they are available they are not particularly note-worthy for this hotel. Overall still really recommend for travellers in general

A good stay overall— good location, walkable to old city but not overly loud. Room was clean. Breakfast ok for the price, etc.

In the weeks after booking, I was contacted twice by Whatsapp scammers pretending to be this place. They had my full name, phone number, booking number, dates, and presumably my passport number since they had the rest. I brought it up when I arrived and they mentioned a data breach. Can't give them more than two stars given the circumstances. Also, the water pressure is quite low in the shower, but I wouldn't normally dock a star for that.

The room was beautifully designed, the whole hotel is cute. The team is professional and lovely, and the breakfast - delicious. Walking distance to the old town, I totally recommend!

Staff was great

We only had Luke warm water for our showers happy hour they run out of wine. So much for free flowing. There was no one there to tell you where glasses, ice were. They didn’t have mixers for hard liquor. They didn’t give you enough syrup for French toast

This was a great spot for our visit to Chiang Mai! We could walk to the night market, there was easy access to activities and Grab was our go-to for transport. The hotel offers bikes, too! Breakfast was great and the pool was chilly on the hot days. Great spot!

Great location, just outside the old walls, everywhere is walking distance.Comfy bed and staff were always really helpful.

AC unit in the room was above the bed, made it sometimes difficult to sleep.

The staff was very kind helpful, the room was beautiful and tidied up nicely every day. Special shout out to I Tim who checked me in and gave me a little briefing on the area!

A cute hotel in the Old City of Chiang Mai, just a short walk from the main attractions and night markets. The room was big and spacious, and the value for money was excellent.

The breakfast was a bit limited, with not much variety to choose from.

Wonderful hotel with spacious comfortable rooms and great beds. Excellent breakfast and nice happy hour option by the pool every day.

This place turned out to be an absolute hidden gem. Everything—from the room to the food to the staff—was top notch. The staff were incredibly helpful with their recommendations and went above and beyond to help us arrange a car hire, even speaking directly with the driver to organize a day trip for us.The kids absolutely loved the Grand Suite and the charming little tea corner. The staff even arranged two single beds for them and created a cozy, comfortable setup that made them feel right at home.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and seamless stay!

The bed was very comfortable.

The room service person turned off the A/C unit and the room became extremely hot being that we were on the top floor.

Very good service, good breakfast, and good recommendations for excursions.
