    Pros +

    • This hotel is located relatively close to the night bazar and about 25 minutes from the old city- the rooms are lovely spacious and luxuriously equipped with wonderful amenities and comforts- The staff were very kind and helpful- they provided umbrellas when it was raining and towels when we went to a nearby waterfall. They accommodated our dietary quirks and were willing to change things when we asked. They responded quickly when communicating via booking.
    • Pre-order breakfast, good selection, well presented, quality and portions are excellent.
    • Just outside city and big room

    Cons -

    • There is a single structural flaw which we were not aware of and that is that there are zero outward facing windows in the room. In our room the window opened not to a back street or internal yard or air shaft but to a stone wall which - with some effort - could let in a tiny bit of light through cracks. So we were in a cave - luxurious well light and spacious- but a cave nonetheless with no natural light or natural air.Had we known this in advance this would have been a show stopper.Other issues: the hotel offers parking but it was not clearly explained that it is across from a six lane road in an empty lot- and traversing the crazy streets of chiang Mai was exacerbated by our inability to find the hotel or some place to stop the car just to ask. There is the issue of no elevator but the helpful staff was kind enough to help us carry the bags up to the room.
    • Overall this was a great stay, great location and easily accessible and friendly staff.

I was a bit disappointed after reading the good reviews to be honest. It was an average stay without the character that the listing suggests.

The pool was non-existent. I hit my leg on the square edges of the wooden bed so many times I got grazes on it. The dark wood of the bed blended into the floor colour and the low lighting didn’t help. Be careful :)

Overall a good concept but looks better in pictures than the reality. Far from the chaos in the city.

If you book it, ask for the top floor that is facing the back yard. Very loud on the first floor as the doors are not very insulated. I woke yo many times during the day from whoever had to walk as there is no elevator up to the rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok. The hotel always seemed empty but when I asked for upper floor they said no availability. Though they offered an upgrade which was facing the main street (very loud) so I did not change.

Excellent location, huge bathroom, beautiful decoration of the rooms and property.

Lovely building, huge well appointed rooms and lovely staff.

Location great but like everything in Chiang Mai you’re never more than two inches from a road.

Beautiful building and large comfortable rooms.

There were not many windows which meant it felt a bit dark during the day.

I had a brief yet delightful stay at this charming and unique hotel. The staff were incredibly pleasant and accommodating, and the cuisine was exquisite, particularly the sticky rice and local sausages.

The only downsides were its slightly remote location and the somewhat deserted atmosphere during my visit. While some may find this solitude appealing, I personally found it a bit isolating...

We enjoyed the spacious rooms and art work throughout the hotel. The adjoining coffee shop was a bonus.

Beautifully appointed rooms, quality furnishings, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, delicious on-site restaurant. Sweet plunge pool and garden. 10 out of 10.

Yes, there are stairs. Hotel staff will help with bags, so it's more of an inconvenience to them than guests.

Clean spacious. Nice ambiance. Good coffee shop and food. Close to the night market but just other side of the river. Staff are so pleasant.

The street isn’t very touristy and traffic noise a bit heavy sometimes but location good nonetheless. Lack of lift is an issue if your bags are heavy which ours were!

    8AbhinavPosted on: 12-13-2023

The rooms were massive, beds were super comfortable and the location is good.. walkable to old city and night market. The staff were amazing and helped book tours and bring breakfast upto the rooms.. super friendly

No Lift/Elevator.. our rooms were on the 3rd floor.. so if you are not ready to walk up 2-3 times a day.. dont book this place.. but the staff helped us in carrying the bags and sending breakfast to the room. No Swimming pool and pick for taxi and drop off is difficult as it is on the main road

Excellent stay with family of 5. We had two rooms on the 1st floor right next to each other. Hotel looked beautiful and rooms were large, with high ceilings and very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff, our 4 year old daughter was sad to leave her new friends. The hotel had a small swimming pool which would've been great for the kids, but unfortunately did not have enough time. Location-wise - it was only 10 mins walk away from the night market and close to some nice restaurants by the river. Breakfast was like a mini-buffet where you can choose dishes the night before (or order more on the day). We had Khao soi for breakfast everyday!

    Nothing at all!

The room we stayed in was big and bed comfy.

The windows. Although light could come through it wasnt one where smwe could look out into the street below

The hotel was very cool and tastefully decorated. The staff were excellent. Loved our breakfast. The room was really spacious.

The pool area was small but perfect for a couple. The only complaint was the chairs - the look cool but weren’t that practical for reading a book by the pool.
