    Pros +

    • The garden was amazing and elegant. The staff and food superior. The room was absolutely gorgeous decorated in teak wood and ornate carvings. The bed was soft and comfortable. Check in early to get the most experience in the garden during daylight hours. Garden is not open in the evening. Many activities like the spa and afternoon tea require reservations the day before so if you are staying only 1 night call in advance. They offer hot air balloon sunrise experience too for a fee but bookings are required well in advance. So keep that in mind. High end stay for a reasonable price.
    • The access to the botanical garden. The peace.
    • Breakfast was great. Beautiful property.

    Cons -

    • I was hoping to stroll the gardens in the evening but they do not have lamp lit paths for strolling at night. Advance reservations required for afternoon tea. Missed out due to short stay.
    • The loud grass cutting noises for long periods every day.
    • We took a “tour” and it was like a roller coaster. And then all of a sudden told us to get out.

Very Olde Worlde, …down to the rustic padlock on the door of the room ? The room was nice, with a terrace overlooking one of the lakes (lots of huge fish!)We had private pool access, which was excellent. The range of attractions within the complex is impressive, …would need a couple of days just to get around everything!Breakfast restaurant was OK, service and food at the other restaurant was not impressive…

Large complex with sections of rooms in different varieties of buildings. My complex was very beautiful with private pool to each area. Lovely large room with beautiful bedding. The size of the complex is big, and you can hire bicycles to get around or a buggy will take you. There is a small zoo and a botanical garden. Very nice breakfast choice

    Restaurant closed to early.

Very beautiful getaway specially for family, Ive made the right choice to book this resort for my wife’s birthday. staff are very hospitable We loved this place they have an amazing big garden and zoo

beautiful green territory as they are part of the botanical garden

the stuff is not trained well and generally there are many strange rules: there are several pools but all only until 5 pm, drinking water- not available, have to buy in plastic bottles, you feel like you flying easyjet every time, surprisingly food is not great, there are 3 restaurants, but in evening only 1 open for dinner with only Thai food which is not great( and I though those places don't exist in Thailand)so management really needs to update this place

Great location for staying with kid: there are 2 playgrounds available, lots of space and wonderful park. I liked the style of wooden houses, garden, the idea of staying in botanical garden is really cool:) perfect view from balcony on lake, fresh air, pretty quite.

Personal, I’m sorry but making an issue of not finding a spoon ( I told where it was, but they couldn’t find it) so that I had to run back with crying kid and get a spoon exactly from the place i mentioned was ridiculous. Asked 2 times two different people at reception to have one more blanket ( yes, they call it duvet-ok -to have “ duvet”) but no one brought anything.Get ready for extremely hard beds

The hotel has HUGE territory with mini zoo, botanical garden, park and ponds. The rooms are nice, some even with a bath, they have bathrobes and teapots (which is personally a big + for me). The hotel is overall very beautiful and the breakfast is also diverse and delicious.

We booked a standard room 196 and woke up at 8 a.m. from DRUMS, children screaming and loud noise. It turns out they have a garden which they 'rent' to kindergartens or schools for children activity. Basically the noise level is very high in the hotel, the staff doesn't care that people come to rest and sleep, they will be banging doors and communicating loudly just beside your door. On the bright side when we came very angry at the reception and asked about the situation with children screaming outside our window - they upgraded the room and offered free breakfast. This was really nice of them. When we left the staff was rather snuffy as if we stole something:/ altogether a very dubious impression.

    Got everything and good design.

Insects and mosquitoes, the room smells damp.

The grounds were beautiful and the pools were very relaxing. The whole hotel is nessled in tranquility. The rooms were very comfortable and the interconnecting rooms were perfect for our family. The park, bike riding and walks you can do around the gardens were lovely to do with my 6 year old daughter and she loved going in the maze.

We ate at the restaurant a lot but the service and food could have been a bit better at times. The restaurant could have been great as it was beautiful but it was just okay.We had a little walk to the animals and although they didn't seem to be maltreated, they were definitely in enclosures that were too small and it would be better if they didn't have them at all. Maybe just stick to bird enclosures as children would also love these and they are easier to care for.

    Very friendly and Supportive Personal

We missed a bar or similar to have a Drink later in the evening because you have always to Drive to the City by Taxi of you want to have Entertainment

Friendly personnel.Clean and big rooms.Beautiful swimming pool.Diverse and nice breakfast.

Zoo animal enclosures were too small.Resort was far away from the city, cabs were not always available (especially in the evenings)

    8AllisonPosted on: 1-4-2025

The resort is quite large and was very empty while we were there. Staff were nice and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The resort is attached to a botanical gardens and you can tour around in an open shuttle. You can also rent bikes. The gardens has a playground, zoo, swimming pool, and lots of areas for stopping to view the flora and fauna.

It’s quite removed from town (which we knew when we booked).

Beautiful resort, pools, location and helpful staff

Aside from the restaurant on the resort not much restaurants in walking distance, need to order a taxi or grab to go out, roads are not designed for walking here

    7SureePosted on: 12-31-2024

Clean, good selection of breakfast buffet, lots of things to explore, spacious room and bathroom

No Netflix included, no massage available from 6 pm, bicycles available but need the hassle to rent it out first

    10LillyPosted on: 12-26-2024

Facilities were very good. We spent a few days exploring the grounds, we especially loved the bike you can take through the garden and petting zoo.

The location is far from Chiang Mai, so be prepared to arrange a grab or taxi to take you to the city if you want to go to any of the markets.

    10CesarPosted on: 12-25-2024

One of the Best Hotel in Chiang Mai 15 kms away from the busy street of the town but with huge area to do a lot of activities.

I was charged double by the staff apparently by mistake according to them. I was charged 1st time 19 December then 3am on 24 Dec the day my family and i will check out. A bit weird that they cannot do the process to void or cancel the transaction instead they promised to refund... totally weird!

    6JensPosted on: 12-25-2024

The property was nice and clean. The resort itself was very green and especially nice for kids

The staff was not so friendly, not so helpful. Everywhere they have fine signs for when you smoke or around the park…. Lets just say, the staff was not very inviting. We arrived at 7 in the morning and had to pay 1000 baht extra to check in early, even though i messaged them weeks before that we would arrive that time. Just didnt really sit right with me even though its just 30 dollars
