AC could be better

Pool and courtyard ambiance were wonderful. Property was next to a temple where monks were chanting and holding a bustling market each day. Staff was wonderful.

I didn't like that they played piano music from before 8 am to late at night. It got old and tiresome. Let some silence in so guests can enjoy the sound of birds and monks chanting.

Service and staff were 10/10, small and quiet, not overcrowded, breakfast included

Wonderful location. Offers a quiet oasis right of the heart of the old city, even during high season. Staff is excellent. We really enjoyed escaping the bustling streets to relax at the pool in the afternoons. Our room was very clean and had a nice balcony overlooking the pool area. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Nothing. Maybe next time would get a hotel a little outside the city walls as I prefer the laidback vibes there but this location is really convenient.

We loved this wonderful boutique hotel! The staff was exceptional. After one day, they remembered our usual morning drinks at breakfast. The breakfast buffet had great selections. The pool and lounge areas were perfect after a long day of walking. Our room and balcony a beautiful retreat.

Good location, 3 mins walks to Ta Pea gate; Staff are really helpful and friendly.

Only 35 rooms which is small, and facilities is bit old. So many switches to take off before going to bed, and my room next to road, which is constantly noisy at night.

One night at 2:30 woke up to fowl "sewer like" smell. Smell lasted 1 hour. Was told this happens when hotel loses power. Hotel only offered an apology.No dresser drawer space to unpack clothing

Great location, everyone was very nice, we had a room right off into the swimming pool. Breakfast was great. We did dinner and drinks one nice and those were very tasty as well. Property was very clean and the bathroom was amazing.

It’s not the property but more the people at the property. Had a couple men take up the swimming pool to swim laps and they each created their own lane. Definitely not enough space to create four lanes. I took up some space so they would get the hint to sacrifice one imaginary lane. lol. It’s not even long enough to swim laps but I digress.

Location, atmosphere and staff

In the breakfast the small flower vase fell on the floor because it was close to the edge of the table and we were requested to pay for it, even though we did nothing to make it fall down to the floor.It was really unnecessary, because even if it fell because of us, which it doesn't seem like, it really wasn't done irresponsibly or intentionally, and it's really a small amount to come and ask a guest who pays almost 100 times more per night as if they were being considered. Really irrelevant.

Cleanness, location, friendly and helpful staff.

We loved the breakfast and ALL the food. I had the steak 3 times and pumpkin soup 4 times. The daily specials and activities were very fun. The staff was always so kind and helpful. The location was ideal for temple visiting and the famous Sunday night market. We walked around so much and hardly had to take a taxi to go anywhere because everything is so close.

We cannot say enough about Aksara Heritage and its staff. All hotels provide rooms to sleep, but what sets them apart is the staff -- the customer service. It makes ALL the difference. Everyone was very caring, attentive and hospitable. Upon arrival, the ladies at the Front Desk saw us crossing the street with luggage and rushed to help. Great welcoming and first impressions! All staff were genuinely friendly and helpful; from the front desk, bellmen, bar attendant, including restaurant hosts. Housekeepers did an excellent job serving our room as well. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful selection, including daily specials. Highly recommend a room with a balcony. A special thanks to Dao for going above and beyond and who was very caring. It was our first visit to Thailand and the central location was also the best. Great memories were made and we look forward to visiting again, thank you!

Beautiful hotel with a comfy feel. Staff were gracious and helpful. The inner courtyard was on point and food was delicious.

Breakfast was great as was the location. I found all the staff to be very helpful and pleasant. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Great and cozy place to stay within the old town walls. Very close to the liveliness of the city, but far enough to not notice a thing about it while you are inside. The pictures don’t do this place justice, as it’s more beautiful than you can see on the different sites to book. The staff is outright exceptional, extremely friendly, warm and always welcoming.

Beautiful and stylish boutique hotel in the heart of old town Chiang Mai. Very comfortable rooms, good linens and beds, fantastic breakfast, and the staff were beyond friendly and professional. Very much enjoyed our stay here.

Prime location in the middle of Chiang Mai Old City. The property was absolutely gorgeous, it was like we were secluded.Big plus is the Sunday Night Market was just outside the property doors! And may I say, the staff we all so pleasant and accomodating.
