Ascot Hotel

Breakfast was great, the bed was one of the bestest and the staff was very kind.

This is a nice and convenient hotel. The location was very practical for us, within easy driving distance of Solingen, Remscheid and Wuppertal. Our family room was convenient and very clean. The WiFi was fast and reliable. There's a good private parking lot in front of the hotel. During our stay in February it was half empty, so easy to find a place. There are supermarkets within a few minutes drive. The breakfast was excellent and it's unbelievable value foe the price. Wide choice, good coffee. The kids particularly liked the orange juice makers.

No 24h reception. The check in is only until 20:00 so you have to plan well.

Hotel location was great for us, not too far from the highway. Check in process was fast and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The room size was good, equipped with everything as usual, beds were comfy. Breakfast for the price you pay was just perfect. Plus, free parking in front of the hotel.

Room was cold in December when we arrived. You have to turn on the heating yourself, so it will take one night to warm up the room. Would be great if this could be done before arrival by the staff.

Great value/price proposition, underrated place. We enjoyed everything here (nice view from the room, big comfortable parking, awesome and affordable breakfast).

This hotel was outfitted American-style: comfortable beds in modern and clean room, coffee machine, stocked mini-fridge included. Breakfast was an outstanding value with a great choice of food!

- wifi was not working and needed to be reset, but even then it was really slow- no air condition, and the fan provided was a bit noisy and not making the room cold

The hotel is located at a nice location. There is dedicated parking. The staff was amazing. We got late due to traffic and they had arranged for self-check-in with clear instructions.

The two sofa beds were not very comfortable for adults. Though for kids they are OK.

Clean, pleasant staff, excellent breakfast, pet friendly, large carpark, bar service, super powerful shower head.

No soap in room only shampoo. Pen mark on one of the bucket seats in room.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The suite was quite clean. The breakfast is inexpensive and nice. The neighbourhood is also amazing!

It was very difficult to sleep in that suite because of the street noise. Not hainvg airco made it worse because if after openning the window, it is like you are sleeping right in the street!Rooms from the other side of the hotel could be better in this case.

The room was big and clean, big nice shower, 2 large armchairs and a large glass table to work on. We received room nr 1 (very close to the reception) or "president's room" as the friendly receptionist called it :-)

Beautiful property inside, well designed and decorated. Breakfast buffet was incredible, from the array of jams to the fresh squeezed orange juice. Super friendly and helpful staff. Plentiful parking.

The floor of the room was absolutely filthy. Our feet were covered quickly, and when we used a towel to mop the floor, it was easily darkened with all the dirt. The size of the quadruple room was absurdly tiny, and we were tripping around the furniture and beds. The shower and bathroom were quite small—your knees almost touch the shower door when you sit on the toilet.
