The Hans Coco Palms Hotel

Swimming pool was great and overall ambience was good.

Wifi was dismal. Almost non-existent.

Pool is just 4 ft deep. At least for adults it should be a minimum of 6 ft keeping the safety in mind. And the room should have ample charging point and a decent wall clock.

The property is becoming old. Require renovation. Food qualify has deteriorated.

The bathrooms need overhauling - with proper shower panels as water spills all over the bathroom. Also the buffet didn't have enough fruit options.

An average and old property but rooms as bathrooms are fairly renovated . They are trying to maintain but the construction is old Z

The 8qm checkout time . That is out of whack and disappointing.

Food at the dining hall, view by the side of the pool, and the hospitality of the staff. Bhagyalashmi @ reception, Upinder @ day dining, and Bar in-charge (sorry forgot the name) @ night dining made the stay particularly enjoyable.

There is no elevator between floors here. This makes it very difficult for senior citizens, especially super-senior (one in my family was 84 and the other 77) citizen to keep moving within the hotel.The cab that was booked from the hotel for local tour had a driver who talked on mobile all the time. Also, most annoyingly, he kept on reporting our destinations to someone (being a Bengali, I understand Odiya quite well). Further, the cab, again booked by the hotel, that brought us from Puri to Bhubaneswar had a very rough driver.

Back of the property needs lots more garden and greenery and screening , approaching the rooms needs lot more tidying and removing rubbish folding beds. Renovate the corridors.Rooms need renovation & modernisation .

Rundown property.house keeping bad .Torn towels, sagging mattress. Defective plumbing fixtures.Repeated call/reminder to drive out guest at exact check out time of 8 am .Hygiene/bed sheet stains,food quality all not commensurate to the high charge. At same price at ITC welcome hotel Bhubaneswar you get real luxury!

I have traveled extensively in India as well as globally. I am very well accustomed to Indian Hospitality. However, over the 3 days that we stayed at The Hans Coco Palms, the staff have completely redefined the concept and notion of hospitality. I am truly amazed as to how nice, caring, helpful the entire staff at The Hans Coco Palms, is. The memories of our stay will truly be dominated by the people and we cannot thank them enough for their truly amazing hospitality.

If it were possible to add a lift in the property, it would be incredibly helpful - particularly for the elderly.

Worst experience of hotel stay of my life. No SECURITY. RISKY to stay here.

There was no security protocol. a person came into my room even after locking the door. On informing this to the staff they took it very lightly. there was no feeling of security at this hotel. and they are taking such high price for such property. Highly Unprofessional. I would recommend people not to ever go to this hotel. However good the property may be, there is NO SECURITY there. Especially if you guys have any female member in your team, please avoid this place. Its not safe there.

breakfast was okay. spread was not that wide but apparently the food was good. the location was good ,far from the crowd. the private beach was well maintained.

the ground floor rooms were not clean.the size of the bathroom was small and not maintained up to the mark. the size and position of the commode was bad,its not recommended specially for senior citizens those who have back pain or similar.the wifi was worst.it was not working at all.we have managed with enough phone data. the bedside plug points were not working properly. had to call for extension chord still there was problem. such a big resort it is and they have only 2-3 staffs around.and they are always looking for tips. they are charging for 9000 rs per day for ground floor room so theey need to upgrade their service.

Everything was bad. Internet did not work well. Even most of the power sockets on the wall did not work. The in room refrigerator was weak.

Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Close to beach.

Though the staff are helpful, they wait to get tipped. A guard was running behind our car for tips. Check out should be at least at 10 AM. 8AM is early.

Breakfast is not upto the mark.

Night receiption staff. They are behaving just like a bus stop guest house. Washroom upgradation required. Not matching with room quality as well as room tarrif.

Access to the beach, the pool, the food and especially the staff.
