An outstanding boutique hotel which has been a popular address for simple hotel accommodation and their outstanding bistro and bar for many years. Very simple but also more than adequate if you have to be in the centre of Bochum. No breakfast buffet, but a splendid choice from their menu results in a truly outstanding breakfast.

It can be noisy because of the Bermuda Triangle quarter here (Bochum's huge restaurant quartier) but well insulated bedroom windows reduced the bustle greatly.

There was no elevator, and i had to carry my very heavy suitcase to the 4. Floor...

The room was very spacious and well organised, with a desk, a separate dressing closet, and a double door to the hall to avoid noise from the hall. It is a lively neighborhood with restaurants and bars but wasn't too noisy on a Saturday night.There is a varied breakfast menu.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice bar and restaurant. Room was spotless. Toiletries provided - and a little bag of Haribo and water. Good location - near public transport. Easy to find.

Curtains not properly secured at top on the track and came down as we drew them. Room was dark with the main light on and quite dated. Bathroom was very cramped with shower right next to the toilet - curtain wasn't long enough so water went over the floor. We had to carry our heavy cases up and down 3 flights of stairs with no lift - which was a bit dangerous.

Not stable WiFi

It was close to the burmuda center and lot of restaurants and the main bochum central station was in the walking distance was clean, had a private bathroom with a single bed, tv, dryer

Bit noisy because of the traffic

Rooms are clean, with a beautiful wooden floor. It is one of the few hotels in Bochum with rooms with a wooden floor instead of a carpet. There was a misunderstanding when I checked in, but it was fixed the next day. The room was beautiful, and decorated with good taste. Bathroom is very modern. The hotel is ideally located, in the center, surrounded by restaurants and bars, and within a 10 min walking distance from the railway station. Breakfast is "à la carte", and is good. I appreciated the staff and the waitress who served me at breakfast.

Rooms in the back can be a bit noisy, because they overlook various pubs and restaurants. On St Valentin's day, it gets a bit lively. I was told those on the front are completely silent, even though they overlook a big street.

No elevator

Good location, kind staff, good water pressure

Dirty mattress, street noise, air quality. King bed was not king, it was two twins just put together. I literally fell between them in the middle of the night. Lack of oxygen can be solved by opening a window, then the noise becomes a problem. Adding a picture of someone else’s something else I first discovered when I fell between the beds and mattress rolled over.
