Hotel location is ideal next to the Ruhr Park and near the autobahn for easy access and has looots of space for parking.My room and bathroom was clean and very spaceous.Breakfast is highly recommendable.

The bathroom has a bathtub with shower included, I would personally prefered a shower, so yo do not have to climb in the tub to take a shower. Thats the only thing I did not like.The instructions to get to the second floor through the side corridor were a bit vague.

Parking facilities and walking distance of a big shopping mall.

No airconditioning. Cleaning of the room and changing towels are not standard but need to be requested at the reception.

Super clean and spacious rooms!

There was almost no noise cancellation in the rooms and the hotel is circular, so the noise from the breakfast room travels upwards. So in the mornings, it is quite loud!

Large free car park

It’s a mystery how this hotel is rated as high as it is! We arrived late at night and it didn’t feel particularly safe, the car park was mostly empty, apart from cars circling around and random people wandering about. The receptionist didn’t speak much English, but was friendly & helpful. As we walked down the corridor the strong smell of cigarette smoke immediately hit us, it was unclean with rubbish including a crate full of empty bottles and cigarette packets on the floor! When we entered the room we found two single beds, not the double bed we had booked. There had clearly been an attempt at renovation at some point in the past, but the old woodchip wallpaper, uncleanliness and tired fixtures and fittings did not help matters. There were no tea & coffee making facilities which were advertised. There was dust and cobwebs around the room, and spiders and insects crawled on the walls. There were crumbs on the desk and many surfaces felt sticky. The bath was chipped and the shower head was covered in limescale, there was also a broken ceiling tile. We would have complained immediately and demanded a refund if it had been anywhere else, but due to the late hour and a language barrier we didn’t bother. Very disappointed, I would never return here.

The staff were great and my room was ok. It was an accessible room so bigger than normal. I didn't request this as I prefer a bath and a shower. It was at the back of the hotel which is generally quieter than the front.

The rooms are quite basic and a couple of extra pillows in the room would be nice. I'm not sure if all the rooms are no smoking as I'm sure my next-door neighbour was a smoker as i could smell it in mine.

Hotel was almost deserted when we arrived. No staff on reception for 10 minutes, bar not open, nothing open. Very odd.

Check in on app doesnt work if you have 2 rooms booed - it only lets you check in one

There wasn’t any guest information. It says it’s has spa facilities however apart from writing on the walls no other information provided.

Cheap and close enough to where I needed to go.

The room has some minor flaws like the shower needed to be redone.

No cleaning services - even after 5 days - I had to go to the reception and get towels and paper my selfNo refill in the breakfast

Clean,cozy, value for money

We stayed 3 nights and noone came to clean even one day. For the 4 stars hotel this is not acceptable.No fridge

Chilled and relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff, great facilities. Additional points for pets friendly approach. Overall great place to stay.

The pillow was surprisingly good. The room size was also good. The general layout of the property is not bad.

Was charged wrongly twice. One time luckily did't go through as it was 4260 euro instead of 426. Then they charged wrongfully 460 ???? It was later sorted but rather annoying. The hose for the shower was broken and must have been for a while - suiting the all over appearance and substance of the bathroom. A refurbishing would be a good investment. Towels were very flimsy and thin.
