B&B Hotel Bochum-City

The bed was comfortable.

The room had no refrigerator, no water boiler. The TV was installed in not appropriate place. The shower's water was so weak.

The staff , the facilities the breakfast were all excellent...a credit to bb hotels...

Cleanliness

The reception staff was rude. After I asked a question, I heard the answer, "I told you."Very tiny room for 3 people. There was no space for luggage.I asked about double bed, and we got 3 single beds.

I wish there was a small free bottle of water at the room or reception, or at least having the bottles at an okay price, its expensive to get 0.5L bottle for 2.5€

Location was great. Very close to the City center.

Parking at the hotel: no parking available. Parking at the Shopping mall next door which was/is very expensive.

Functional, clean rooms. Friendly staff. In walking distance to downtown.

First of all: you can read here at the booking.com (both before and after booking the room) that you do not need to reserve parking space. I felt like trying, just to be sure... I called the number indicated in the booking confirmation which turned out to be an international one (European center or so with long recorded stuff, no chance to get a person at the Bochum location on the line). So I sent a message through the booking.com message interface as I always do when I want to communicate with a hotel after booking. No reply. So I arrived, and – what a surprise – all the parking places were taken, and the "lovely" (extremely unconcerned) receptionist asked me why I hadn't reserved, as that is what I should have done (...) and told me to go to the parking garage a bit down the street. (I went, where while it was written that a day costs 20 EUR, I left a car there for around 23 hours and paid 28 EUR...) The room's windows were looking right at the metro station, so both those waiting and those sitting on the train looked directly at us in the bed... The TV listed some English speaking channels, but NONE of them worked. Zero. And unless you went between 7-8, there was an inconvenient crowd at the breakfast (which itself was nothing special).

The staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was tasty and sufficient for our needs. The hotel is a 15 minute brisk walk from the HBF which meant it is fairly quiet. There is a new retail centre opened two minutes away for essential provisions, immaculately presented. A decent sized twin room with an excellent shower.I would recommend this hotel if you want a safe, comfortable stay in this very pleasant city.

B and B's are generally no frills but are clean and comfortable. Hotel was easy to find and (although I didn't realise at the time), Bochum West train station is only a few yards away.

was lucky to get good rate for this hotel. Top location near city hall. Nice comfortable , very modern and new rooms. Friendly staff.

Everything was compact and well organized - small but with comfort. Hot water and AC were well (my room was on 4th floor). There was no big noise inside, just outside (road).

I did not find a freezer in my room, which would be helpful if provided.
