RK Riverside Resort and Spa (Reon Kruewal)

Pool. Spacious room. Free water and coffee. Location on riverside.

Breakfast was ok but there should always be non-meat versions of the Thai dishes available for vegetarians. On some mornings everything had pork. For Europeans, the fried eggs should be warm, not cold. Some people would have liked the bar to be open later.Taxis rarely found the place without getting lost first and driving an extra 10 km.

Bed was comfortable

The facilities were not that good. The shower was in the bath and just let water flow around the bathroom because of a gutter between the bath and edge of the wall.

We were lucky enough to have chances to have 2 different types of breakfast. A la carte and buffet. We prefer a la carte because food were freshly made and coffee was from a coffee machine.

Breakfast buffet has more choices but not as delicious as the a la carte. Also, coffee is from the coffee pot which was not the best, It will also be better if the breakfast room is more relax in terms of timing. Not always says that the cleaner will need to clean the room at 10 am sharp. I noticed not only ourselves but other customers enjoy sitting there eating their remaining food & coffee, chatting and watching the slow river life & scenery.

Second visit to Riverside, we love the location by the river, the kids spent a lot of time in the pool and rooms service and the breakfast was brilliant. We will be back soon!

The bath tub should either be removed and have shower only or change the layout of the bath and shower. When using the shower the water leaked all over the bathroom floor due to poor design. The shower head needs to be cleaned and descaled properly it’s full of limescale and black stain. I had to use a towel to mop up the water from the floor and I would also recommend to give the floor a deep clean especially the corners. If you are thinking about getting an extra bed, beware it’s half the price of a room. Almost 900Baht!! Not worth it and same goes for breakfast. Quite costly for what they are offering.

Staff were super helpful, hotel is lovely and right on the river. Food was ace. Pricing is really good and we’re staying there again soon.

Fantastic bed, excellent breakfast and the personell were so kind and helpfull. If they told me it was a 5* hotel i would believe it!

the breakfast was very poor the chef had no idea how to cook an egg or bacon - both burnt but toast undercooked which is foolish as people will not have dinner there as they think the chef is no good , but must be a different chef as the dinner was good . A good varied menu , food was well presented and tasty , I would recommend we were not allowed to drink alcohol and we were the only ones in residence ? they said we could drink in our room but not sit and chat with a beer or wine and watch the river which spoilt it for me .

You can spend quiet time in the natural environemtn by the river. Staff is very friedly and cooperative even though they cannot speak English exept for the staff at the reception.

The Wifi is very weak and unstable. It is impossible to work in the room.

Nice place on the side of the Tha Chin river.
