    Pros +

    • The location is great, the facilities are good and clean. And most of all, the staff are the nicest, most helpful and most friendly that I have experienced in Kampot. They are not pushy or intrusive but still are very hospitable when you do have an inquiry. I can't express enough how pleasant my experience has been staying here. Also, if you have a pet, I would recommend here even more. My dog has been very happy and I didn't feel unwelcome when walking her
    • Very cute bungalows, mine was right on the water which was perfect to relax in the mornings and evenings
    • Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, I love the private balcony. And the foods are good too.

    Cons -

    • I was the room closest to the restaurant so it sometimes got a little noisy but wasn’t too bad
    • The room is very old, dirty, and not so hygienic. Some facilities are already broken. The front door is not fully closed which is quite unsafe. And there’s no proper bathroom amenities. I found the cockroach in the bathroom and on the amenities. On top of that, the loud noise from the restaurant and the common seating area is very disturbing. I experienced a group of foreigners who partied and drank until 2 am.
    • The walls were very unsecure from bugs and mosquitos. The beds were horrible for comfort, and the floors and walls weren't even on the hut on the river, and the door didn't close all the way. We moved to a hut down the driveway off the water and it felt alittle more solid, and was alot quieter. Really nice facility overall for the area.

A lovely riverside location just a 5 minute tuk tuk away from the main area, amazing value for money and the staff couldn’t do enough for you and were very helpful with any requests.

The staff was always helpful and nice. Helped get a motorbike for us to use the entire time we were there without any problem and the view on the river from the room and the guest area was amazing. Peaceful location just outside of the town. The huts were cute

The staff was very nice and tried to be as responsive as they could.

The wifi, AC, and shower did not work in my room.

    3ShanePosted on: 3-14-2025

    Nice staff

It is clean but old and run-down. My shower barely works, wifi does not work and it is not close to anything.

    Comfy and nice looking bungalows

No proper light in a room and bathroom!!! Very dark inside, only had a small lamp with a little light

Location , staff , scooter rental

It was dusty and seems like it’s an old building , the room has no ventilation

    9GoldyPosted on: 2-25-2025

Lovely location on the river. Accommodation was ok with plenty of hooks for hanging bags. Nice restaurant/ bar on the river front.

You need a scooter for this location. It is walkable into town 25 mins. You need a international license to rent a scooter here. Shower pressure weak but doable.

Great, clean bamboo bungalows next to the river in a small resort a 10 minute $2 tuk tuk ride from downtown bars, restaurants and shops in Kampot..Clean, comfortable rooms with own bathrooms.Small bar area on a platform next to the river, serving a variety of food and drinks at great prices.Staff were very helpful, and spoke English well.

No fridges in the room - but we were allowed to use the one at the reception/bar when required.

    9ClairePosted on: 2-21-2025

Great Bungalows alongside the river, with easy access to downtown (5 minutes in a tuk tuk -$2 each way) Friendly staff, who can help in anyway needed

No fridges in the bungalows but we used the main one in the bar/reception area.

    8HermiomePosted on: 2-20-2025

Very cozy and pretty! Definitely perfect for a few nights - bit of a walk to the centre but we didn’t mind

Hard to work heating on shower and a lot of outside noise though we were in the bungalow by the main road so maybe that’s why. The ones by the river looked lovely

    8arcangeloPosted on: 2-14-2025

Room comfort and design, high speed internet, beautiful view from the restaurant and lobby. Amazingly good food , Possibility to pay by card.

There was no hot water in the shower, little interest in fixing the problem, However, considering the daily price paid, it can be ignored. Poorly functioning rental motorcycle...From the reception comes a slightly annoying music from 2pm to 10pm...from the adjacent resort there are night parties, however you can still sleep without difficulty

Location was great, could comfortably walk into town whilst being in a quieter area. Room was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful.

    7HobaPosted on: 2-9-2025

decent location, good breakfast, nice staff

Our room was too close to the road. More hooks in the bathroom and possibly bedroom to hold hanging items. We have noticed that most hotels could benefit taking this action.

    8ChhenganPosted on: 2-7-2025

    Room was okay

During my stay, the hot water machine was not functioning properly, which forced me to take cold showers instead during the current warm season and I felt uncomfortable.

This place has so much potential. The bungalows are very cute and set in a nice little courtyard with a lovely deck on the waterfront

The flaws just really added up. Everything was entirely run down. Mosquito net had massive holes everywhere, the mattress was thin and old and had springs poking in our back. As the bungalows were completely open to the elements, so were we. We booked 3 nights but left after 2 because of the cockroaches. Mosquitos we can deal with, but the roaches crawled all over everywhere. The neighbours have loud karaoke parties until 2:00 (and they are terrible singers). Also... the grounds are shared with a rooster who is convinced that night is day

Locations and foods was really good

A room very close to the restaurant and a bit noisy once the customers talked loudly. Couldn’t go to sleep early

    7WaynePosted on: 2-1-2025

amazing rustic room over the river

the extremely loud music from 2 doors down, admittedly it was a one off concert as reopened after 3 years closed but it was soooo loud
