Swimming pool

I stayed in the dormitory. The sound proof wall is very poor. Around 10pm -11pm the door slams every time people are in and out of the restroom. The slammed doors are not from the users but from the door itself. Sound Bang... Bang... Bang... . I hope the Onederz Kamport fix it.

The room was very clean and new. The pool was great.

The breakfast and foods there are ok, but can't compared to those offered by Onederz SR and Onederz SHV. It is time Onederz KP improved the quality of their breakfast and meals in general.

It was sad that we couldn't request for late check-out. At Onderz SR and Onederz SHV, they allowed for late check-out until 1:00 PM if the room has not been booked. But here at Onederz Kampot, even the room was not booked, they didn't allow late check-out. The staff told me that all rooms were booked so we could not request for late check-out, but when I checked on booking.com, the type of room that I was staying in was free. Four of the rooms were still not booked yet, meaning that the staff was lying to their guest about the room status so as not to allow us to have a late check-out. Management at other Onederz locations is a lot better than the management at Onederz KP to my observation.

A nice hostel with nice private rooms.

Onederz needs to allow people to pay with the cards on their phones. It’s the only place that doesn’t and is very inconvenient.

Amazing hostel. I had a private room and it was easily a (3) star hotel. The hostelmis beautiful, swimming pool, great restaurant, rented a scooter for (3) days. Centrally located.

Not a compliant but the water in bathroom/shower is luke warm. I prefer piping hot sater fofrshaving and showering. Not an issue but full disclosure.

Wi-Fi/Internet was weak and unreliable

The staff were incredible, so smiley and helpful and always chatting to you. Jasmine the kitten was my favourite member of staff ❤️The bed was super comfy The room was really cool being on the ground floor. I actually booked again and came back later in the week, I got a balcony on my second visit but I think I preferred the standard double as the room was cooler, I didn't need to have the Aircon on.

There was an annoying ticking noise at the end of the corridor but I got used to it after a while and actually forgot to mention it to the staff There was also a small spider in my room but 2 members of staff came and sorted it for me instantly!

The facilities are good.

BED BUGS IN THE HOSTELOn my second night, I woke up with many bites. Another guest told me she had the same issue before and had to change rooms. When I went to reception, the staff first suggested it could be “anything” and even told me to go to the hospital. Only after explaining everything again did they move me to another room.However, I had to wash all my clothes (I’ve been traveling for 10 months, so it was a lot). The hostel only offered me the laundry with a 50% discount, and I had to pay the rest. This meant I had to wait for hours with only a bikini, which was very uncomfortable.Unfortunately, the following night I woke up with even more bites. When I told the housekeeper, they checked the bed and found clear black marks from bed bugs. Again, I had to wash all my clothes.I understand that these problems can occasionally happen in hostels, but I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled. Guests should not have to pay extra costs after such an issue.Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, and I hope the management takes this seriously to improve for future guests.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood.

It would be better if the door could block off more noise from the walkway outside.

Hands-down the best hostel I’ve stayed at! Extremely clean, including the bathrooms, and the beds were comfy. Staff was super friendly too! And breakfast was good.

Everything was nice, I love swimming pool so much :)Only one of the staff boys that let me to the room and Open the door for me when i lost my key in the room, he's very kind and friendly. The restaurant staff also friendly

Everything is perfect, the room is clean and smell good, swimming pool is amazing vibes, cocktails taste so good and affordable price. Love it ?

The room is clean and the staff is very friendly, Very good communication, but I don't like for deposit for the one keys $5 and one towel $5 is not a good option for me , Thanks, Monyharch!

Overall, this is a good hotel with a great location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are good, such as the pool and sun loungers, but be aware that the common area is always crowded.

If you stay here, avoid living on the first floor. Even though the room was clean, it was unbearably humid inside. Even the AC couldn't help us, so all our clothes were wet.Also, the bed in our room creaked terribly, so much so that it prevented us from sleeping.

Great location, friendly staff. The pool is great, the food was also good and reasonably priced.

The dorms were really busy, bags all over the room and queues for the girl's showers. The cleanliness could be better in the bathrooms.

Clean, comfortable, convenient location

Honestly I cannot praise this hostel high enough. It is more like a hotel than a hostel. The standard here is so much higher than any other hostel I have stayed in Cambodia; n the chilled vibe in this place during the day in beautiful Kampot supersedes any of the Onederz hostels up north.

Many very young people in groups seem to want to stay here too, disrupting the peace by talking in hallways or in dorms when others r in bed trying to sleep at a reasonable hour. Doors in rooms r slammed all hours of the night, hallways echo. None of this is the hostels fault, just the inexperienced and or inconsiderate travellers staying here at the moment. I have been here before when it has been quieter.

Some people at reception are quite rude, many children/families staying there that made me feel more in a hotel than a hostel

We like the pool, room and restaurant.
