Pros +
- I did not get a good night sleep.
- A good room with all the amenities, a quiet location, a cafe on the ground floor, and plenty of parking nearby.
- Clean, modern design
Cons -
- I woke up to the sound of an industrial vaccum cleaner at 8:00 am. The cleaning staff did not seem to care that they were actually very loud since early in the morning.
- The location is 30 minutes from the city center, but it's in an industrial area. It's ideal if you're driving. There's a bus stop nearby.
- The receptionist didn’t explain well about the parking system. It took us for 20-30 min to enter a parking and understand the system. Hotel is also located in a strange neighbourhood, looks like an industrial area. No restaurants or coffee shops around.

- comfortable bed- refurbished room and facilities, well kept- views from the room- clean
- the room was rather comfortable but felt very small- the room had very little amenities and extras- the hotel itself is very small, gives you the feeling of lacking space- very basic breakfast- the area is the biggest letdown: it’s an industrial polygon in the outskirts, with literally nothing around, I missed this info when booking. Feels safe though, just inconvenient and uncomfortable location if what you want is to explore the city. For convenience you have a Lidl nearby and a couple fast food chains if you happen to need them.
The best hotel in my 21 days of walking the El Camino. Room was a good size, bed was super comfortable, and everything was spotless. I really enjoyed the air conditioning! The breakfast buffet was also really good.
Too far from the old town area and complicated to walk to. My GPS sent me on a highway exit ramp to get over the railroad tracks (which I found was unnecessary).
The receptionist who checked us in was lovely
It states on Booking.com that there is parking but there isn’t. It’s street parking….
The staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms and hotel in general were clean and comfortable.
The hotel is a bit out of the way of the city center, but we rented the Gijón city bikes everyday to go back and forth and it was really no problem.
We stayed at Rener Hotel Los Campones while cycling across Espana Verde. The location is not downtown but convenient for stashing our bikes in the facility so we could walk to dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend Cafeteria La Santina for dinner.
Excellent stay during El Camino Norte.Slept, like a child. Very comfortable bed and 4! pillows.Outstanding breakfast! The best I had during last 18 days of Camino.Fully satisfied and highly recommended!
The room was clean and tidy. The appliances worked properly (including the air conditioner). There is also a cafe below, where you can have breakfast. It is ~30 minutes' walk from the railway station.
Nothing to add here.
Service, clean, decor
Location , but it is ok
The girls at the front desk were brilliant. Left some stuff. The helped me get it back. Girls in restaurant real friendly also. Place was ultra spotless. Breakfast lovely. Loads of choice. niceness so far out of at leat 12
The room is comfortable and clean. The furniture is new.The staff is responsive. I had an early check-out, I asked for breakfast to be made early and they prepared everything for me.
The hotel is on the outskirts of the city, in an industrial area.Getting to the center is inconvenient.
Size of room was very good. Clean. Bathroom very large.
Fonic isolation was very bad. No parking. Location in the industrial zone of the city with no facilities.
Very nice out of City hotel. Great value for money with delicious self service breakfast with extensive range of items presented. Staff very helpful. Very good dinner menu in the restaurant in the evenings.
Not in the control of the hotel - the train service is very unreliable particularly in evenings.
The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean and pleasant. The bathroom was large and clean. The room was also very quiet although the hotel is on a busy road, I have had no trouble sleeping. The beds were very comfortable too.
n.v.t.
Stylish corner room, plenty of light. Great shower.Modern design.Bus stop outside hotel €1.50, although buses stop at approx 10pm to return. Decent breakfast
Our room was overlooking main road which was noisy. Aircon situated over one of the beds made one of us bunged up.
New hotel with restaurant, comfortable bed
The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, close to the road with trucks
