Cons -
- I was on 1st floor in a room that looks more like a box. So small with a one window that looks on some kind of dark inner maintenance passage that on very top has open space and looks into the sky. Sad because I had impression that hotel is half empty, so they can easily offer me some room which looks into the street and small part of sea. After you exit form elevator on 1st floor, it looks very narrow and claustrophobic. Not recommend for more than 2 days of stay.

best location in Gijon, close to the beach and downtown
Lovely hotel and easy to get to if walking the Camino. Comfortable room and modern bathroom. Close to supermarkets. Having a cafe/restaurant downstairs (La Marina) was wonderful. Lovely waiter who spoke English. Meals were huge, we shared a main meal and it was more than enough. Highly recommend staying here.
Location is amazing

The location and the size of the room.
It didn’t have air conditioning, the bed was very small and with a plastic protector that makes you sweat.
Beds are okay, even though they are a bit short.
The reception area smells of frying oil and it kind of seeps into the rest of the place..
Perfect location. Very kind staff, helpful and always smiling. Great cafeteria with awesome coffee and croissant a la planxa. Also the coffee plus pinxo combo was very good. Amazingly clean hotel. Everyday supplied with toiletries and clean towels. Good wifi connection.
The mattress protection because when sleeping you got sweaty. No air-conditioning but the fan the room had was enough.
Great location, close to the beach and restaurants/bars. Hot shower. View from the room directly to the park and sea view. Quiet location during a night. Staff at reception was very nice and helpful.
Price was too high for what was offered. Bed mattress and pillows were not very comfortable.
Receptionist or concierge very nice customer service, day and night
Room was a bit cold ❄️
After one night we requested a change of room to the front of the hotel, without question the reception staff were accommodating, very helpful and understanding. Can not ask for more.
Nothing all as expected
The staff were extremely helpful when I made a mistake with my booking. Water was hot and plentiful and the room was clean. The bed was very firm, which I liked.
The walls are far too thin, we were awoken at 6:30 am by the staff opening a cupboard door which sounded so close we thought they were trying to get in to our room. Footsteps sounded like they were by the feet of giants, water pipes sounded like waterfalls.
A lovely clean and well situated hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
The bed was a little tired and the room rather noisy, but that’s due to the typical lack of carpeting in most Spanish hotels.
Great staff and great location for beach and historic quarter.
Overpriced for what the hotel offers. Rooms and beds need an urgent make over. All of Gijón is overpriced in the summer so I gues this is how it is. Bed is too small if you are 6 feet.
