it was a bit cold inside and that I was served breakfast instead of preparing it myself, but maybe that's just me

Good for a nights stay on a busy Camino schedule. Good bathroom and shower. Basic no frills accommodation.

Can’t complain about much - but room was a bit depressing though adequate.

Nice hotel in a fabulous location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Interesting decor and recycling near the room. The only room we could get was quite small with a view of a rooftop full of utilities. But the bathroom was roomy with nice towels.

WiFi was nonexistent. We couldn’t even open websites until we used our cellular data to create hotspots in the room. Bed was not very comfortable.

Expected much better for 100Euro a night!!!

Bed linen was not changed as it had sand in it. Same with floor in room not cleaned. Bed pillow poor. Are Boooking.com clients given poor rooms? Like one in the attic? Why was room cost actually lower than the one offered and paid by us thro Booking.com?

The entrance deco is beautiful and its super central

The constant noise. You can hear the elevator doors opening from inside the rooms. And people constantly talking in the room floors hallways. Also weird a hole in the bathroom ceiling and the stained bed sheets

Staff extremely accommodating, and location was perfect! Rooms were clean and spacious!

The bed was a little hard to sleep on but other than that very comfortable

Zero soundproofing between rooms meant I could hear every word of my neighbouring guest's phone calls, as well as showering etc. Ear plugs recommended!

Bad quality of WiFi. If you want to work from the hotel, there are desks in rooms, but the connection wasn’t good, especially for calls

The hotel is in an excellent location, in town close to the beach, to all facilities, cafes and restaurents. The staff were very helpful and professional and made my stay pleasant. I happily recommend the Hotel Sam Miguel.

The hotel is located very close to the beach and within walking distance of lots of the city centre. The room was spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed, and maintained a good temperature. Despite being very central there was very little noise - especially on the top floor where I was!The reception staff were very patient with our (very bad) Spanish and made us feel very welcome.

The lift was occasionally a bit slow, I sometimes had to wait awhile to go up and almost always walked down the stairs when leaving the building. That is my only complaint.

The location is perfect, close to both the beach and lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. The front desk clerk in the morning was friendly and very helpful. My room was thoroughly cleaned everyday.

It would be good to have more comfortable pillows.

This hotel was a fantastic find! It offered everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Gijón. Location is absolutely perfect! It was super close to everything - the beach, restaurants, shops, sights. I could easily walk everywhere I wanted to go.My room was clean, quiet, and had a comfy bed. Just what you need after a day exploring!This hotel is a perfect choice for anyone looking for a simple, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Gijón.

Gets hot and no AC just the fan. The breakfast is a bit expensive for what it is but there is dozens of places around . Pillows were not very good

Fantastic hotel..lovely decor. Room cool without air conditioning. Kettle provided,unusual in spanish hotels/rooms. Really good location..5 mins from seafront,10 mins from old town, vegetarian restaurant almost next door.
