Hotel Alcomar

Everything was great - the room was spacious, comfortable, and very well designed. The fridge was stocked with water daily. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, even supplying us with hot water to take to the room. Location was excellent, close to the beach as well as to supermarkets and cafes. We would definitely stay there again!

Great location right across from the beach and short walk to old neighborhood filled with great restaurants

Great stay. Easy access to the old downtown of Gijon and the beach. There is a walk path located directly across the hotel for walking enthusiasts. There are plenty of cafes, and restaurants nearby.

It's a classic hotel. The location is perfect, close to the beach, old town and shopping streets. Parking is close in an underground public car park.

Property is advertised room with AC, but it did not work in the room we had. We were given a fan and told to open the window which allowed mosquitos in the room. We were also offered another room without AC. Mgmnt comped us breakfast, but we could not sleep. Really a bad experience and deceptive room advertising.

The view from our room was very nice. And the location was great. Nice coffee shop too, very friendly staff

A bit old fashioned

Old world charm with lovely updates. Beachside location. Kind and helpful staff. Well functioning air conditioning, comfortable beds, wonderful shower.

A rather noisy business conference with attendees who did not respect quiet hours - through no fault of the hotel.

No air conditioning, our room was very hot and had a fan. We had to open the window, then there were mosquitoes, that didn’t let you sleep.

Very nice hotel right on the promenade. Great beach, restaurant and shopping access all around.

Everything, the location , friendly helpful staff. Big room & shower, comfy bed. Complementary water.

Great location and the hotel was beautiful - rooms comfortable and clean and the staff helpful particularly as our Spanish is not great ! Would recommend - great value for money .

Very lovely spot right by the seaview as advertised, was very comfortable and nice for a single night stay with access to all the local spots.

Location, it really is worth having a sea view room. Amazing sunrises from the room and it's lovely to go sleep listening to the waves. Beautiful Comfortable bed. The room has a fridge which is very handy. Good shower and toiletries. I cannot complain and would happily stay again.

The location is great. My room had a view of the sea. The staff was nice. There was nothing to complain about.

Were given room as requested. Centrally located beachfront property, beautiful views of bay, old and new town. Large room, comfortable beds, only sound was listening to the waves rolling. Most welcome bath after walking 30 kms in drenching rain. Good lighting in bathroom, bidet.

Rather small bathroom compared to bedroom which was large. Lighting in bedroom dull. Would like a kettle.

Perfect location. Mini fridge. Great location if walking the Norte. They were very accommodating

A heritage listed hotel (lovely antiques) located on the Beachfront hotel and within walking distance of terrific bar and restaurant area. Good size rooms.

Bar wasn’t open later but probably due to late season (low client volumes). Some street noise from pedestrians late at night.
