- Great breakfast! Clean, good location, Amazing staff, I highly recommend it!
- The location is great, perfect for going out at night. The staff are friendly and the room was clean and nicer than expected with lovely views. Even though it's in very a busy area, it felt really quiet.
- The location.
Cons -
- We love everything!
- The room was extremely hot and there didn't seem to be a way to turn down the heating. The bathroom was a bit dated, and the shower head was broken. The breakfast was a bit bland but there were a few options to choose from.
- This property was essentially a hostel with poor customer service. When I tried to modify my reservation, the staff was rude, unhelpful, and incompetent, and my issue was never resolved.

Lovely big room with a nice view in a good location and great staff.
It was clean and comfortable and in a great location. Lovely view from bedroom.
It was noisy all night and parking was expensive. But both due to the close to the centre location.
Lovely location with good views & very comfortable
Would prefer if there was someone in check in for local map & greeting
Location and bed was great. Good view.
Apathetic staff. Asked to purchase a glass of milk from the breakfast buffet for my baby bottle since it was raining out and they refused, asking for the full buffet price.
Great location, and clean, but this is where the plus side end. The most noisy hotel I ever been too absolutely no insulations between room or with the outside and the latter is even bigger problem when your room is almost a sauna, even when you turn down a radiator, and the only option is to open the window... So you can boil and not sleep. Sleeping is additionally difficult as the bed is super uncomfortable and squeaks with every move. On top of all of that window view is to the next building wall and the elevator literally has signs on it warning you not to use it... Which is great when your room is on the 4th floor next to that elevator with a very loud door... Clear to say - not gonna come back
Location was great, and the view from the room was amazing.
There was a celebration in the old town and I could hear it as it was in the room next door. I couldn’t sleep one night. No kettle.

I am writing to formally complain about our one stay in Hotel Alda Pasaje Gijon from Friday the 28th of June to saturday the 29th of June, where I, husband Abel Piqueras, and daughter. As I am normally cold and it was a cool day I used a brown blanket that was in the wardrobe and during the night i was being bitten and assumed it was mosquitos. We let at 9 am on Saturday for our road trip and immediately i realised i had 11 bites that kept icthcing. 6 bites on my right leg3 bites on my left leg2 bites in each armThe bites kept itching to the point that as we were then in Leon I had to go to a pharmacy and get fesnistil and anti estamine. I still bear the marks of these 11 bites.I was the only one that used a blanket and the only one bitten.I find it unbelievable and unacceptable that the blankets have bed bugs so I urge you to clean them as other guests will have the same problem. We were on the road for 1 week and stayed each night in a different location and this is the only time this has happened.waiting for your responsepatricia
The hotel has an excellent location, in front of the Marina. You can walk to any part of Gijón and it is close to everything. The staff is very friendly, they gave us a map and explained the best places to eat, visit etc. It was a unique attention and they gave us a very comfortable room with sea views. When you open the windows to let the breeze in, maybe a lot of noise comes in, but it was not an impediment to enjoy the stay and have a good time. I recommend it.
Location
The room is very dark, although in the description of the room it was written exactly the opposite, at midday almost no light enters the room. The walls in this hotel are very thin, I heard all the conversations of my neighbors, I heard the screams of the staff from the reception. In the hotel every day except Sunday, construction workers made noise from eight in the morning, it was impossible to sleep at this time. It is also very cold and there is no way to fix this. I practically begged the administrator to change my number, but the staff here won’t help you in any way. When you contact the staff, they just shrug their shoulders and don’t want to help you. There is no refrigerator in the room, there is a safe, but there is no key to it, the wall is dirty, the door to the bathroom will soon simply crumble, it is terribly unpleasant to be there. The staff does not know English, which is unacceptable in this area, I had to communicate using a translator.
Super conveniently located , nice view
Very noisy and we couldn’t turn off the heating but opening the window was too cold , so we suffered from an incredibly warm night.
Lovely room overlooking the harbour. Staff were amazingly helpful.
The car parking was a public car park which was fine, but as we had to leave a lot of valuable, heavy items overnight in the car, we were worried. In fact all was well.
A great room, beautiful view, room very clean, staff very kind
maybe foresee a small fridge in the room.
Centrally located hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Squeaky clean.
Noisy! Because it is in the city and centrally located, it was noisy and hard to sleep. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking.
Great room. Nice view of the harbour.Good location Staff very helpful
Amazing place. It’s a great hotel if you want to stay in the center of everything. Close to the beach and landmarks. The room is neat and tidy. I got a free upgrade and I enjoyed my stay here. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
Nothing here
Fantastic receptionist, large room and very large bed. Excellent view over the marina.
Can be noisy dependent on other guests. Parking in removed underground parking with a 3E discount not ideal.
Silencioso, trato amable del personal y confortable.
Las vistas.
