Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Mysore

Staff is the only best thing about this hotel.

The Motty smell in the room barely allowed me to sleep. I don?t think they realizing that the carpet is unclean and I?m not sure how others are not feeling it. I have no idea how they get five stars.

Good Spread for breakfast. We stayed for 2.5 days and our entire visit was very comfortable. Staff was prompt and courteous. During our stay, a big group of foreigners also stayed and the majority of the buffet menu was designed to suit their taste (I assume). My husband was not very happy with the buffet options and was struggling to get something he likes. The chef noticed, checked his concern and quickly cooked up something apt for his liking. That was very nice of him to do!! One more time, we came back to hotel after having dinner outside. My lil one saw the desserts on the buffet menu passing by and wanted to pick one small pastry. We enquired the staff on how could we buy it. They refused us politely as it was a part of the buffet but then sent us 2 pieces instead of one to our room, free of cost.

Nothing. Everything seemed fine to us. We came for relaxation and had a good time.

The rooms have amazing hill views and are large enough to stay comfortably. The food was great with a lot of options and very good taste. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff at the restaurant are very competent and food is well organised.

The crib provided initially was unsafe for use. After making a fuss, they were able to produce a more suitable crib. It shouldn't have required us to raise an issue. Especially because I called to confirm the particulars of the crib weeks in advance at the time of having booked the room. The room we checked into is the highest grade room they have on offer. We booked a non smoking room as we travelled with a baby but the room we got smelled of smoke. The staff admitted that the previous occupants had been smoking indoors and supplied an air purifier that took a full night to make a difference. The next night another occupant above us played loud music from 2-4 in the morning. When we called the front desk to let them know that it was waking our baby up, they asked us to please adjust as the occupants would soon be checking out. Overall, not what one would expect given that we spent multiple lakhs on this stay.

Pool was nice, property was clean. Service from management was poor. We got food poisoning from contaminated food and they not only did not comp our additional night stay (we were physically unable to check out) they made us pay for the food that poisoned us. Was forced to cancel transportation for a fee and pay additional for transportation that was unplanned.

Food poisoning! Not 5 star customer service for an expensive hotel.

Attentive, polite staff make the main difference in this property. The food is very good too. And the room was large enough to accommodate our family of 4!

Only minor cribs - the EV charging facility was out of order, but I could charge my car in the mall right next door. Also, the swimming pool is outdoor and not temperature controlled - so the water was a bit too cold in December.

Staff behavior, food.

We were upgraded to a junior suite. But the bathroom was not very good. Privacy was an issue.

Since we had booked a junior suite, we appreciated having our breakfast (which was a decent spread) in a separate lounge on the 4th floor away from the buzz in the busy Spring restaurant at the lobby level.

Had lunch soon after check-in at the "Spring" restaurant. Service was lax and a simple order of chicken dumplings took forever to arrive. When they did arrive - there was a gap of 15 minutes between 2 portions of the same item even though they were ordered together. Hygiene of room linen needs to be improved. Pillow covers had stains and there was also the unwelcome sight of somebody else's hair trapped between the case and pillow clearly visible through the pillow case. There was a also a layer of dust on the narrow wooden track above the bed. The extra bed requested for one family member came in a dishevelled condition with wheels sticking out of the frame close to the head / face of the person resting on it - a very tacky set up for an extra bed. Not encountered such an arrangement in any of the other hotels we've stayed at where the wheels are always out of sight and usually at the base of the bed. Linen on the Not very 5-star like experiences and more so did not seem like value for money after booking a suite room.

It was but clean , staff are absolutely incompetent . I started here second time to see if they have improved - and they haven’t

Comfortable and clean room, friendly staff and very good amenities. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet, pool, sauna facilities. The property is also very centrally located.

Room was good.

Gym is sub standard. Hotel food ala carte is extremely disappointing.

Room was spacious as it was upgraded.

At the time booking, it was stated that Payment was to be made at the property. I dont know why Booking.com or property attempted to get the payment in the credit card. I had to call the property twice to confirm if the reservation is there. Otherwise I would have booked another hotel.

The location was good and our room had a nice view of Chamundi hill

Breakfast could have more varieties in terms of fruits,Nuts and other items

Ambience was lovely and the staff was very courteous

No tissue paper in the common washrooms! No hand dryer as well.

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience regarding the handling of my deposit.Upon check-in, I paid the full amount for my stay along with a deposit. I clearly informed the reception that I would not authorize the deposit to be used for extra charges, as I preferred to settle any additional expenses in cash immediately. Throughout my stay, whenever I used the restaurant or incurred any extra charges, I paid them on the spot in cash, as agreed.However, during my early check-out (due to a family emergency), I requested the return of my deposit. To my surprise, I was told that the deposit had already been taken to cover extra charges—charges that I had already paid directly in cash. This effectively means I was charged twice for the same services.This experience was extremely frustrating. I had no time to argue further as I had to catch my flight, but it left me with the impression that the hotel unfairly withheld my money. Such practices feel dishonest and unprofessional, as guests should not be double-charged.I kindly request that this matter be reviewed and that my deposit be refunded promptly. I also hope the hotel will take measures to prevent such situations in the future, as they cause great inconvenience and create a very negative guest experience.

Reception staff

Location was cool. Breakfast was average if you are from BLR or any metro city or have stayed in similar plush properties.

Bartender, not so great. Lunch buffet was definitely not up to any standard in terms of taste or variety. I had checked in and informed there would be a slight late check out. They agreed verbally to do it FOC but charged me 999+tax when checking out.

It was large and very big and had a very big bathroom and it had a very big room with all the facilities and loads of lights

We had a great experience at Radisson Blu. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our last-minute request to decorate our son’s room, and they did a fantastic job. The decoration was stylish and subtle, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere without being overdone.A big thank you to Soundarya and Mr. Muthu for their support and professionalism. They were both very gracious and made sure everything was taken care of smoothly. Their attention to detail really stood out and made our stay extra special.Highly recommend for anyone looking for thoughtful service and a comfortable stay.

We stayed in Radisson for 2 nights in the Deluxe room with Hill view. The room is spacious with a good view of the chamundi hills. Our room had partial view of the swimming pool and you could spot the minarets of the Raajendra Vilasa Palace on the Chamundi hills. The spread of the breakfast, lunch and dinner was what you would expect from a 5 star rated hotel (very much satisfied on the front). The staff was very helpful and always wearing a smile. Also the location of the hotel is very close to the Zoo and city center is also not very far.

We were expecting it to have a kids play area which was missing.
