There is my second time to stay in here,andThe cleanliness is excellent.The basic needs provided.The staff so friendly and professional.

Nothing so far

Room size and reasonable price.

Few thing ran down - shower not working properly (hot water sometimes not working but still ok with room temperature cool) and bed need replacement already.

Though it's an old hotel, but the it is still comfortable. Got a very big room with a really good price. Hotel location near restaurant and airport.

Room service. Should change their iron board and iron.

very strategic place.easy to find food and the place also located in middle of up town and downtown.make all the place like sandakan memorial park,sepilok,crocodille farm,waterfront and more place felt so nearby.

a little noise from the other room sometimes also from the toilet door on our room 215.

Everthing was good. Recommended place to stay.

WiFi connection could've been better. The signal did not reach my room (111).

Been here twice. Strategic, easy parking, many restaurants nearby, easy check in and out, great staffs.

No iron or hairdryer provided inside room (need to request). Also, no hanger.

The room is clean, comfortable and big enough for couple which is good to stay.

Superior king room should be completed with iron, iron board and hair dryer.

room smelled like cigarettes, shower was extremely hot (not possible to turn colder)

Very close to the airport; only 5 MYR in a Grab, or 15 in a taxi. Bed was large and pretty comfortable with a spare pillow. Kettle, water and coffee were provided, very good. Good location, not very expensive to use Grab to get to Sandakan main area. The room was pretty quiet, except for other guests walking past the door. Shower was good. Room was large. Clean bedding, good pillows. Good staff.

Internet was barely usable after the first night. The wifi repeater broke on the first floor meaning we couldn't access the wifi unless we stood in reception. Our room was the first room upon climbing the stairs, and often people would talk loudly outside the room in the middle of the night. Probably not staff members, as the staff were very polite and friendly. The wallpaper is peeling off in a lot of places. This should just be stripped and painted as it looks bad.

The hotel location is good, kind of in the middle of the townships/commercial areas. The area was quiet during the weekend so no traffic noises. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and is more spacious than most similar hotels. The WiFi worked well, we were on the first floor. Aircon was cold and worked well. There was some issues at check-in related to our room requests, since it was already late and the hotel was full, we did not have a choice, however the matter was satisfactorily resolved the next day. I appreciate that the staff were very kind and efficient in handling our request to transfer the room. Thank you.

Minor observations - the lobby isn't fully spruced up yet, it would make a big difference if the large empty aquarium is activated again. The wallpaper in one of the rooms needed touching up. Maybe it was a busy weekend, we would have liked to extend our checkout a few hours later but they weren't able to accommodate unless with half-day charges.

impressive that there is an extra pillow in the room.

Rooms phone is out of order. Bathroom is smelly. The lighting of the room is not comfortable. The room cleanliness need to be improved.

Location near from airport & ample carpark

Not thoroughly clean..the cleaner forgot to clean the kettle (still with noodles inside). The sink water very low. This is supposed to be an enclosed room but the room smell with tobacco smoke. Room 103 & 106

Hotel was clean, well made. The room smelt nice, a few things were already broken as I came in but wasnt a problem, still good. Aircond works well, room was clean, and it was walking distance to restaurants. Loved the small touch of coffee and a water heater, really convenient.

A few things were not in the best condition as I came in (aircond controls), also the door lock doesnt feel secure (only 2 mechanisms).

clean room and friendly housekeeping.. location near from restaurant and loundry and shop.. the area is sparsely populated and not crowded. the risk for covid infection is low

I didn't really like a staff when I checked in that night .. I asked where the word (I LOVE SANDAKAN) he replied ooo I don't know .. the harbor mall is in the city area? .. ooo I don't know. ..maybe the worker has just arrived in Sandakan like us. I ended up using MR GOOGLE even though he doesn't live in Sandakan. Other staff are friendly especially the staff who answered the phone before check in and during check out. tq...tq... we will stay labuk hotel again and recommend to others friends
