Good service. After we had an issue with the door lock we were upgraded to a large corner room with balcony!

Well located in Georgetown near the ferry and jetties

Pool is tiny

locate is great. walk distance to George Town heritage site.Staff was very nice with good service, provide us with tour information.Room is big with ocean shore views.

Breakfast was continental. However, this hotel is closed to food court, guests can easy to have various food there.

The hotel was conveniently located, close to the ferry terminal, across the street from the clan jetties and only a block or two from numerous restaurants and food courts. The entrance is on a main thoroughfare which made it convenient for vehicle access. For walking we used side alleyways. The staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. We were given a complimentary voucher for a meal at a nearby food stall and coconut jelly was delivered to our room one hot afternoon. The room was spacious, very clean and quiet. We had a room overlooking the garden and city but the building seemed well insulated so I don't think noise would've been an issue even on the street side. We would definitely choose to stay st SAVV hotel again.

Rooms for solo travelers and filtered water, safe to drink, only stop in Malaysia that offered that. Liked the tropical plants, pool although very small.

Clean room. Good beds, Nice bathroom. All the unit was in good repair.

Booked and paid for two adults and a 12 year old child. The room they gave us had two single beds. When questioned they said the 12 year old can sleep in one of the two beds. Simply not enough space. There was no couch. We had to PAY for a floor mattress so the 12 year old would have a place to sleep. 6th floor "top floor" was hot.

The staff are 10+, all very friendly and helpful! Fini went over and above in her room service cleaning. The room was large as was the bathroom and lots of hot water! Nice sitting area in réception as well as the pool and upper area with lounge chairs. It was great to have the filtered water on tap as well as a container to chill water in mini fridge. Espresso maker with a choice of coffee was greatly appreciated. The Savv is a great location across from the jetties and easy walk to all areas of Georgetown. Great views from front and side rooms. Lots of restaurants and cafés to choose from.

location is very central to restaurants, stores...all walking distance within Georgetown.breakfast had good variety each day and was quite good. staff very friendly and helpfulpool small but alright for us and when we were using it, no one else there.room very clean. good size bathroom. good to have a fridge in room.

The location was FASTASTIC. Right opposite the popular jetties, neat to the ferry terminal to Mainland Penang and bus depot. Plus, walking distance to all the eateries streets.The staff, Angie was GREAT!!!

Err....nothing.

The staff at SAVV Hotel were absolutely wonderful: friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is excellent, close to the main attractions (we walked everywhere). Our room was very comfortable, with one of the best beds we’ve slept in during our travels. Breakfast was simple but satisfying — a great way to start the day!

If you want a lovely view of the water, make sure you’re 3rd floor or higher. Also, the soundproofing could be improved. We could hear our neighbors’ TV, and there was a loud street parade one evening that caught us off guard. It would have been helpful if the staff had given guests a heads-up about the event.

The beds were quite hard but manageable. I did love the bathroom. Also they did give us 2 meal vouchers which was very kind and much appreciated.

Savv isn't the best location available - while very close to Chew Jetty, it was at least a 10 minute walk out from most things. That wouldn't be the worst thing, but as there aren't very many sidewalks in Georgetown, it made it difficult to get around especially right outside the hotel. The room itself had very little room to store anything making it fine for a one night stay but difficult for multiple nights. The pool was quite small and we never used it. Overall, there are better places to stay location wise and the hotel isn't nice enough to offset that fact. Stay for one night, but not many.

Room was clean and very spacious for 1 person. Facilities well-maintained. Although room was facing a road with heavy traffic, could still sleep well. Liked the small sea view from the room, and very walkable distance to cafes and city centre. Could store luggage after checkout.

Nothing notable. Only minor thing is that the hotel is on a very busy road, it is difficult to cross over to the jetties.

SAVV Hotel is a gem of a place. There is nothing not to like about the place. The location is perfectly situated right in the center of historical district steps away from sites, stores and food! The hotel is clean and modern with view of harbor and fishing villages from our room’s windows. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The tasty tap water in our modern bathroom is save to drink after double filtrations and UV treatments.

The hotel was lovely, the staff was friendly and very helpful! The immediate surrounding area wasn't terribly nice but the location was very close, (within walking distance) of almost every place we wanted to visit so I rate the location very good and exceptional for the price range.

The pool was very small and not very appealing; breakfast was mediocre.

I recently stayed at Savv Hotel in George Town, Penang, and overall, I had a great experience. The location is definitely the highlight—it’s right by the waterfront and just a short walk to Chew Jetty, street art, heritage sites, and plenty of local food stalls. It was so convenient to explore the area without needing transport.The hotel itself is clean and modern, with a boutique feel. My room, though not very large, was thoughtfully designed and surprisingly quiet. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the rainfall shower and in-room amenities like the mini fridge and rotating TV. However, I did wish there was a proper chair or workspace.Breakfast was à la carte with both Western and local options. The food was fresh and tasty, though the selection was limited and a bit pricey compared to what you can find just outside.The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and even small touches like complimentary postcards added to the pleasant experience. There’s also a small dipping pool, which was nice to relax by after walking in the heat.Overall, Savv Hotel is a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, well-located, and comfortable stay in George Town.

Very clean and modern. Everything was well taken care of and worked properly. Good location. Staff were nice and the process is easy. They offer a free postcard too and will mail for you.

Room is narrow. I understand the size for the price, but the design wasn’t good and made it feel cramped. Sound proofing is poor and road noise was loud. Pool was tiny.
