wifi is terrible

The location is very good to explore the city on foot.

For the breakfast you had to select every day before one of 8 a la cart options. The breakfast was served on the rooftop which was literally abandoned. The tables and everything were not cleaned all. When you look at the rooftop it is for a laughter that on the ground floor they had a michelin listed restaraunt. The A/C is blowing on one side of the bed. We ended up not turning on the A/C at all. Instead we opened the window at night. We stayed in the same hotel circa 6 years ago and the experience was severely downgraded.

Location was very good , surround by many eatery & nearby shopping mall. Room facilities are ok for the price you pay.

Some staff were friendly and helpful ( Tamil lady & gentleman when we check in 19/11 3pm ) , the guy who was there while we check out 22/11 6am was one kind no smile at all . He need to be educated which field he is in. When we check in lift was under repair and we waited 1.5 hours to go upto rooms. There was water cut /no water for about one hour during which one of us having showers. No porter to carry luggage up . Lift need to upgrade and Reception counter area/Ground floor definitely need upgrade .

Creepy.

The hotel is clearly run on a minimal budget and it shows. Simply a place to sleep with no real amenities in the room. Good for back packers who are staying on the cheap but not a good hotel for people looking for a comfortable place to stay. The hotel felt outdated and eerie. There were loud humming and creaking noises throughout the night. The hotel was very creepy and the energy was off. We checked out after only 1 night (we originally booked 4 nights) and stayed at a much nicer hotel near Gurney. You're better off staying in a real hotel outside of George Town and taking a 15 minute Grab ride to see the attractions.

The floor was dirty. Mirrors with finger prints. Could not get in on one side of bed. No bedside table.

Outdated rooms; just didn’t appear clean due to color choice of browns/tans

After the initial cleaning / mopping / dusting, we ended up not having daily cleaning. We did get extra towels, hangers, and an extra chair to prop one of our luggages. We were content since it was for just 3 night with just the two of us, plus the room was not that big to spread out - so not much to clean. The two single bed needed a little cushier. We did ask for extra comforter for my husband as he does not like the cold but I do in the hot Penang weather. Staff was very helpful, polite and accommodating with each of our request. So that makes up for it.

The hotel was a little muggy when we first stepped in. The floor in the bedroom felt like it was not "mopped" clean. Could feel the sugary stickiness on the wood floor - yucky. I had to wipe the floor myself and brought the dirty towel to the receptionist, who did come up to our room to mop and wiped / dust off surfaces (dust on the counter top and top of refrigerator). We did request the next day cleaning before we left for breakfast (roof top) but returned with no cleaning nor change in towels. The room was not that big - so no big deal. Roof top was bare but you do get free coffee and cereal with a very nice 360 view of Georgetown. So that makes up for the roof top bareness.

Very comfortable stay. Efficient, friendly and supportive staff.

very decent hotel with big room. Location is super, very close to Kotmar terminal for common transportations. And u can find very good street food just at the corner.

Staffs are very helpful. Near hotel also have many food stall and 2 malls( not to good) also have money changer

Location... just location... nothing else.... I would recommend spend some more money and stay at better hotel.. or spend less to stay in similar hotelll not worth the money i spent... I spent similar money in KL and stayed at top class hotel near petronas

receptionist specially their discrimination against people from Asia. when the receptionist looked at passport, they confirmed what country we r travelling from... and after anything we ask.. the answer was NO. WTH!in the name of breakfast, it is just toast... that doesn't fill stomach of an kid, leave alone adults... never take the free breakfast

Left and found another hotel even though this one was already paid for.

Room was very small, air con dripped puddles of water on the floor, window was high and small with a view looking on top of residential roofs. No offer to assist with luggage. Fine for an overnight stay for backpackers.

Fasilities, location, staff

The price was reasonable.

There are only 2 parking spaces for guests. It's totally not for Malaysian whom have cars. The surrounding parking is also always full of cars. Only good for tourists backpackers with no transport.

The location was very near to the night market with many choices of food at night. It's also in the city center and easy to find.

the sink at bathroom was too small it caused the water to splash when you wash your hand.

what i like most is how it's strategically located but still calm. Perangin Mall & 1st Avenue is just across the street, with a mosque in the same alley, and some of the Georgetown popular food spots are all within walking distance. But it's on a street that's secluded enough from the busy traffic or noisy establishments.

the parking situation could be better. If you are driving, it's a huge hassle to find own parking lot for rm1.20/hour (rm9/day).

The interior,lighting style, and decoration were magnificent.

The rooms, and the staff were lovely.

The upstairs terrace bar wasn't as nice as it looks in the photos and wasn't open either when we went up, although one of the staff came up and got us something to drink which was nice. Shame as everything else was great.

Location and the room comfortable. Staff helpful.

Expected parking bay but only two. Not enough. Website say got parking. Disappointing.
