Aikka Hotel

Great location for an overnight stay. It's a bit far from the main part of town but very convenient, being close to the train station and the jetty to George Town. The staff were excellent and handled my check-in issues efficiently.

The main downside was the cleanliness—it wasn't the best, particularly in the bathroom, which could use some improvement. It worked as a last-minute option for the night, but the location was difficult to find due to limited signage. Thankfully, I managed to locate it in the end, but I have to dock a few points for these issues.

Good place to stay if needing somewhere before train etc. Slight confusion when checking in as you need to phone when you arrive but the number didn’t seem to be on WhatsApp - difficult for international numbers… staff were very lovely and helpful. If any issues there is a shop around the corner who helped us out! Loved the map at reception where you can pin where you are from!

Very clean.Bus from ferry to property- think it was the 702.Plenty of eating places near by.Water available in common area sns small bottles supplied in room.Room had AC.

Bring ear buds if you are a light sleeper.

The location is real scary. In front of the hotel entrance, a few men sitting and staring to everyone who come. The scariest thing is motorist is gathering there. Taking, laughing and shouting loud. I was in a second floor and the noise is annoying. Please take action.

Owner is so kind that he let us change room to lower floor as we were fasting. The room is very clean

Great location near the art walk, comfy and clean. Rooms huge and TV in a good location can watch from bed. Amazing rainforest type shower. Nice smelling shampoo/shower gel. Easy to catch grabs to the bird park and shopping mall. Can walk to see the local chinese temples. Hot water/ irons available.

Only one toilet roll - provide two would be good.

Great room with a lovely sized shower wet room! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, AC was great and got the room lovely and cold quick which I definitely needed haha. Over all I had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

Clean room and comfortable bed. The hotel made arrangements for our late arrival. We arrived after 00:00. Hotel not far from the station.

Shower was not in good working condition

the room, toilet, bedsheet is all clean eventhough the room is a bit classic for me

The View and the room was so comfortable,, even though do not have lift. Love the conditions. The hotel give iron board, coway water, and some cutlery also space for relax outside room and the toilet was clean.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. And the hotel is very near to all amenties. Value for money. Highly recommended and will stay again.

Their hygiene is very good, got smart tv to binge watch, wifi is strong, the room smells so good, the room is quite big considering the affordable price. All basic necessities are provided in the room ie shower gel, shampoo, mineral water.

If I really have to point out one thing, it will be privacy. You can hear some noise from outside but not too distracting.

A cheap room if passing through

The place was quite dirty with ants all over the bathroom. The street corner was very loud all night, and the location was difficult to get to and far away from other things. Wouldn’t recommend unless you really just want a cheap night.

It was very clean and comfortable and the staff was super friendly, I would recommend this hotel
