Location not bad. In the middle of Chinatown. Plenty of food and transport options. Decor was quite cute. Had a library with plenty of books if you like to read and relax. Reception have extra keycard to keep a/c running to keep the room cold. The bed is

Overall it felt a bit old and grubby. Reception times are limited. No tv in the room or common area. No fridge in room but there is one in the common area. Bed is hard but comfy. Shower and gel are nice. A/c cold. Wifi good.

I liked their interior, cleanness, facilities, location and srvice.

Staff is not familiar to guest.

There was no hot water and the wifi didn’t reach my room (7) i had to go to the terrace everytime

Property was clean and had all the amenities .It was in a good location as well bcs everything was within a walkable distance. The place is very comfortable and the staff was friendly too. Perfect for any female solo or group travelers since the place needs a key fob to enter , so security is also good.Easy checkin and chekout too.Perfect place to stay with everything available to you.

There was a seal missing between the screen of the bathroom towards the toilet seat , so that was a little awkward and the plumbing made noise throughout the night but that was okay

The location was great.

One of the wall plugs doesn’t work and the TV does not play images but play sounds.

Great location in the centre of Georgetown close to all food, historic and cultural locations. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. I would absolutely stay here again if visiting Penang.

Street noise at night was loud, but that is no fault of the hotel as the windows are thick. Would prefer a traditional doona rather than the thick blankets provided, but still warm and comfortable.

Good location inside Georgetown. Easy to find food and all it's walking distance within 10min to 15min. Love it. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

The small cover, didn't cover my feet, legs, or anything... Arguments with my GF over who got it aswell.

Soundproof of the hotel was so bad and beds are not that comfortable.

The room facilities like the bathroom were old and run down. The balcony was unappealing and not well maintained

Its walking distance & situated in jalan lebuh kimberley, next to hema hema icecream n in the same road as the hameedeyah nasi kandar.. they use code system so its safer that nobody goes in out except for the guests that are staying..

They didnt change the linens & pillowsheet. I can literally smell through it ?

The bathroom space definitely could have been cleaner, but a fantastic location and quiet at night.The reception was unmanned for the duration of our stay but we were easily able to contact the owners by phone

The Room and the Hotel itself was a good experience but the stuff are horrible! Almost nobody in the reception the whole day ! And they just put a piece of paper with a number to call for any assistance which is fine but the fun fact i was trying to call them the whole day for 2 days and nobody cares ! One more thing that they only provide one key with an access card and the glass door has a passcode so if u wanna make a crime to stay outside and ur partner at home the only way to get in is to wake her up after midnight to save you and let u in ! The location is very nice and a lot to do around but it’s a very disappointing experience and never again in this place !

Its location. Very convenient to explore Penang Chinatown.

No lift, so if you have big luggages, you have to carry upstairs by yourself to check in/out.

The cleanliness of the room. Housekeeping needs improvement. Bed was uncomfortable to sleep on.Bathroom was not properly cleaned.

I liked the way it was designed..the look of the hotel. vintage. the rooms are spacious. the bed was comfy. the guy receptionist was very helpful and warm. the full set of toothpaste, soap and toothbrush with clean towels provided. theres a safe deposit box.

nothing short coming. however, the sofa bed was not so comfortable. it was dusty. theres no TV. theres no shower caps eventhough there's rain shower there. the pantry with the water dispenser and the fridge was quite a walk. Parking is a hassle around the area.
