First time staying in this hotel and I really love it. The lady at front desk was very professional. check-in was easy and fast. Rooms are very spacious and clean. I had breakfast and dinner and both delicious . My overall experience was amazing. I'll definitely come back

Good breakfast, sufficient choice

WiFi WiFi WiFi, literally we suffered from the wifi issue for a whole week. Bad signal and frequently lost connected

I liked the breakfast it was good and full and even though I woke up late. They still let me eat

The AC was not cold enough

The staff. They are the reason I keep going back. I find them friendly and very helpful. I did have a small disagreement with one of the breakfast attendants but thay was an exception to the rule.Everyone makes me feel very welcome and appreciated.Customer Service is key for me and they seem to have got it right.The room size and the facilities are competitive with other hotels I have stayed in in the Ikeja GRA axis.

The gym needs to be updated. The treadmills don't always work. The ellipticals need to be replaced as they are faulty. There are no towels for guests and there are no wipes for cleaning down any of the equipment after use. Despite complaining about these on many times nothing has been done about this.The parking is a NIGHTMARE. The space is too small and the attendants insist on cars being parked facing in instead of facing out. This creates many issues when trying to leave the hotel.Please add a bit more variety to the breakfast menu.The seating in the foyer is starting to look a bit tired.

The fruits, bread and juices were not labelled. The hotel should be mindful that some guests may have food allergies and displaying Food Allergy labelling will assist the guests to chose what they want to eat.

The shower didn't give hot water at first but it was later fixed

I was allowed an early check in about 11am. The staffs were friendly and polite and i also enjoyed the very comfortable bed and the buffet breakfast was nice. All in all it was a pleasant stay!

The swimming pool location discourage me from using it. It had no privacy. The restaurant and some rooms were overlooking it

Bedroom door of 208 was very insecure with both additional security locks broken. Security relies only on card entry which is not good enough as they are easily duplicated.

Having stayed at the Shoregate Hotel previously and having experienced an enjoyable stay I was both surprised and disappointed with the stay on my return. Due to the fact I was returning back to Abuja I decided to stay at the Shoregate Hotel because of its close proximity to the airport. This time round, although my room was still clean and relatively comfortable, the rest of the hotel ie the foyer and the restaurant was not to the level of cleanliness I had previously experienced. Also the level of service received from the staff was pretty poor. On the Saturday morning I decided to sit in the lounging area as a change of scenery from the room and I was shocked as to how dirty the tables and chairs were full of crumbs one seat even had a dead fly, also the area had a couple flies buzzing around. Also the restaurant menu was seriously lacking, every time I ordered a dish the waiter would return from the kitchen and advise they didn't have the dish advertised on the menu. Another annoyance was the sketchy internet. Infact I hardly got internet. All in All I was looking forward to checking out after my three day stay.

The staff are very helpful and professional. The environment is clean, and the service is excellent. Will definitely visit again.
