One of the best hotels I have been to. The staffs, very professional and diligent. The room size was moderate, beautiful reception from the housekeeping department, and cleanliness(100%). Their food is very nice and they have a lot of amenities from the pool to the gym to the outdoor bar with games available for guests. Rating them 100/10

Rooms are modern and well furnished. Proximity to both the Lagos local and international airports is excellent. Complimentary breakfast was very good.

Occasional slow traffic on Mobolaji Bank Anthony way could be an issue. Factor that into your airport travel time.

Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Rooms were quite large, facilities like gym and swimming pool were great and well kept. Rooms were extremely quiet considering the location, services like laundry was very reasonably priced.

Great location, exceptional staff, and nice facilities. Good A/C which is a big help for Lagos! The location is very close to the domestic terminal and not a bad drive to the International terminal. I would definitely stay there again since it was such a good value for the money!

Wifi in Nigeria is just poor in general. Compared to internet in any other part of the country it was good, but it is still somewhat slow and challenging to do anything requiring stronger bandwidth. Video meetings worked, but with some challenges.

The lady at the reception was nice and friendly.

I wanted a location close to the airport. This was. What I didn't realize was how close it was to the highway and that it was not noise proof. You could hear trucks and cars throughout the Night.The bed was hard...very hard. I have never slept on a hotel bed that had. The beddings are suppose to be white, but they don't look like that anymore. Doesn't give clean vibes.I don't think I will be coming back.

I came in a little later than my check-in period, but had the best support staff right from the reception. The check-in was easy and staff happy to help. I found a homely ambience as soon as I was ushered in, maybe I am just a sucker for SPACE but I loved it.

The staff were very cautious. The facility is decent once inside the premises. Everything was functioning well, AC, refrigerator, microwave, shower system, except the mattress. These are all the things I look forward to. Again, the staff are very professional, doing their best to make visitors happy. The facility is secured and clean enough.

THE MATTRESS. Awfully HARD mattress. We could not sleep in the 3 nights that we stayed. It was painful to even sit on it.I heard the management replies to comments, saying they will provide a soft mattress or toppers on request. I called ahead to confirm, and I was promised a mattress topper upon arrival. When I arrived, I could not believe how hard the bed was. It was like sleeping on a concrete floor. The topper turned out to be a duvet. I was offered about 3 duve, and it didn't change a thing. I would have loved to stay there again, but I could not subject myself to such body pain again. Also, the breakfast choices were not good. The facility is also very close to the bus stop and can be noisy and rowdy with the bikers and horns blaring. On Sunday, it was the noise from the church. I didn't get the room I initially booked because there was a party on that side of the facility, so I got a step down. In a nut shell, I can overlook everything else but the mattress. I had to spend the rest of my stay in a different hotel. One staff member said the management has plans to change the mattresses. I really hope they do. It will be a game changer.

A bit pricey, but good value for money.

I had a bad experience with another hotel, before coming to Apartment 79, but the welcoming face and customer service from both Chioma and Seyi, elevated the stress and bad experience. Whilst Chioma refused to check me in early against hotel policy, the way she communicated this was quite friendly and professional and I was happy to wait. Thank you Chioma for a wonderful customer service experience.

The Internet wasn't great. The breakfast could do with more option.No restaurant menu in the rooms.The room booking was for two, but only one towel was in room.The t.v channels are not clear, could do.with checking by the maintenance crew.Overall, for an hotel that's only been open for a year, a bit of more maintenance of the room will be good.

The room was small to what was advertised, the toilet and bathroom was small and dirty.The wardrobe was small and facing the toilet and unable to manoeuvre The room looked warn out with old paint and needed refurbishment

The location is very good Its central in ikeja. Also the receptionist and bell boy who recieved me were awesome. Suprisingly they bear same name (precious) both male and female staff. The breakfast was good they even call your room to remind you. Less i forget some tall white beared guy was the boss. He wowed me with his politeness and courteousnes. The setting of my first room the studio apartment with a balcony is great.Thank you so much guys i would recommend apt 79 anytime.

Hmmm i changed my room 3 times in three days. If you must take the studio apartment chwck the toilet before you check in. its a bit tightAfter the first night i changed to a 1 bed suite which was nice but the ac in the room did not cool but they too up the fixing immediately i complained. Lastly the pool bar needs to be checked. Service was SUPER SLOW and the seating area was littered 2 days in a row with cigarette buts. Seems the cleaners only work at morning hours. Mangement please look into this

I was struck by the cleanliness of the facility and the polite attitude of the staff.

The hallway was pretty hot.

Gideon and his team are exceptional hosts, and Apartment 79 is a stunning hotel that delivers great value. From our airport pickup, to the time of our check out, the team at the hotel delivered wonderful, friendly service. The facilities at the hotel are nothing short of great, and the all rooms and amenities are extremely clean. We will be staying here again when we return to Lagos.

The restaurant and bar did not stock certain items, but there were alternatives in place.

The customer service was prompt in responding to questions before I paid for the room. The breakfast spread was an impressive one, I was told.

A lot of thingsI booked the room for a guest whose report of her stay was not positive. I chose not to give any feedback because it would have been very negative. However. I am now moved to give my feedback because the facility now claims that I did not stay. The guest informed me that the room she was given had a faulty AC and no telecom system. She had to physically go to the reception to complain, and then she was moved to another room.. she said she asked for the rate for the room she was leaving, and she was told a figure much lower than what was paid. She was them told that they would upgrade her to a room that was at the rate we paid for. A blatant attempt at deception and fraud. She also reported that the power went off and the generators were not turned on, and when she made enquiries, she was told the power would be brought back soon. So she was left in the dark till power was restored a short time after.
