Raia Hotel & Convention Centre Alor Setar

I hope the Raia hotel can provide welcoming high tea after guest check in.. High value added. I & family had experience at Avenue Park Hotel Sungai Petani..They still offering the same ...the room price is only RM205.00 & plus breakfast for two...We always be their guest ..almost every month ..just to rest & enjoy staying at the hotel.

Cheaper meal room service...RM20.00 just for mushroom soup is so expansive. Mee, beehoon..just nice at RM25++, but at Raia Hotel the price is RM32.00..too expansive..Should offer family menu package price at lower prices.Sajah should be 2 pieces & nicer..solat Jamaah ..Signage Surau chould be clearer...

Inhouse entertainment was good. Stable internet.

Lift button light almost hard to see.

The room is clean, facilities complete & the breakfast is also fulfilling. All staffs are really friendly, not even 1 was not. Thank you so much, it is a pleasant stay at the hotel.

So far all is good

Its room is spacious and clean.

Quite isolated

The room and the cost.

Breakfast is too simple. The food ordering system and payment at the restaurant are poor. Taking order is badly manage and recorded. We experienced this during tea time.

The location was great

The room was a bit dusty and the tap water was very murky.

The location, which is near to the airport and there is shuttle service to/from airport. Room was comfortable

1) The towels and bed linens need replacement. 2) Requested a few times for the extra bed to be set up prior to arrival, but it was not done and the staff came up with excuses.3) The shuttle did not arrive in time. Seemed they have forgotten about my booking.

1. Very clean room.2. Bedsheet and blanket smells nice.3. A separated swimming pool which is convenient.4. Spacious room for 4 adults.5. Strategic location.

Internet access slow as hell!- Tested speedtest.net for hotel wifi only got 2-5 Mbps.- Tested my Maxis data even got 40-50 Mbps.- Complained to fromt desk, they just gave us a bunch of password token slips to try on.- They failed to understand, it's not that password didn't work, the internet line itself was terrible.

Spacious room, friendly staff

The bed is low and not comfortable, the room looked tired

Alhamdulillah, we have upgraded to Studio Executive and request an extra bed. The room very comfortable for 3a + 2k (6yo & 3yo). They provide welcome fruits and biskut raya. Thank you for the arrangement.

My second stay here. Spacious room, comfy bed, good shower, hospitable staff. A bit dusty. Old hotel, but acceptable. Didn't take breakfast - no comment on that.

Clean and cozy

Parking no roof

Location

Maintenance- shower door cannot tightly closed due to door misalignment. Water spread on the floor ...Room 304

Location and good facilities

The big and hard pillows

Loved the location, away from traffic, quiet, tranquil. Check-in by friendly staff was fast. Reception area, corridors, lifts and cafe were clean with a pleasant ambience. Breakfast was surprisingly good, comparable to international hotels in Penang.

Room cleanliness could have been better. There were stains on the bathroom door, wall next to the bed and rug. Bedsheet and comforter felt a bit damp albeit clean and spotless.

Very clean, modern hotel that has complete amenities. Location next to the airport or 1 minute drive.

This is rather a personal pet peeve but the room is 80% carpeted, which is quite uncomfortable to my feet.

Spacious. Clean. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Very polite staff who were very helpful, good breakfast buffet at a good price if not included in your booking, spacious and comfortable rooms with a 12:30 checkoutFree airport shuttle too

Pillows were slightly uncomfortable but otherwise all ok

Friendly and responsive staff. Clean bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable stay overall.

Safe not in working order

location, spacious room, clean, shower with hot water
