Grand Alora Hotel

Location.

The amenities is getting old and some broken. Toilet2 at lobby were not up to cleanliness that was expected. The lighting in the room is so bad. Need more lights. The toilet and bath were needed some kind of major repairs and fixing.

Room is big n spacious

In room facilities are OUT! No iron, no iron board, no hair dryer.. the head board bring out sound once u move on bed. Breakfast menu..huh like a school canteen

The room was clean. The size of the room was okay. The breakfast spread was excellent.

The bathroom shower was not maintained well ie. shower switch broken, toilet bidet leaking etc.

Upkeep of facilities was bad. The room smell. Even when you enter the main entrance, there is some smell in the whole building.

Location strategy and good staff services

Unfortunately hotel looks good from outside but room not so clean and no tissue refill. First time book hotel like this so sad.

Nothing I like/expected

The room flooring/carpet is dirty, torn & smelly; the shower head is dangling and leaking; the overhead shower is not stoppable; there's no hand towels, face towels and bath towels are hard and smelly; the TV is so small just like my office table monitor; the room lighting is very dim.

As vegetarian, i only have the toasted bread, salad & fruits.

Torn bedsheets & old bath towel. Lights were a little dimmed except for the table lamp.

Fridge not function. Windows seems to grow fungus. Wall have leaking stains. Looked like lack of routine maintenance.

Room is very very dark , paid rm485 per night and hotel is warm and hot common place all no air conditioning

The lighting in the room was bad. Not enough light for reading.....and couldn't even read the combination numbers of the locks of our luggage. Only suitable for sleepig

Convenient for family visit at CNY. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Still not enough maintenance and investment in this hotel. All tables need to be replaced in the ground floor restaurant; ground floor toilet still disgusting to use and needs major refurbishment. Hotel bedrooms pillow cases pillows looked very old & bathrooms need need majorI refurbished hope the owners will invest in 2025 to make the Alora - Grand again!

Size of the room, spacious and air cond is cold enough and the big size bed

Quite run down the room condition and the bathroom as well. Might need to invest a bit for upkeeping.

location as it is near lotus and family mart, which provide convenient if you need any daily use or food

1st time the room given is mouldy, with unpleasant smell, the solution given is to ask roomkeeper to spray mistI have to go down to reception and request for a room change, they given a higher floor which the room is better maintained.
