Frazel Heritage Hotel

The location is good

Smelly rooms, size of room is not worth the value. It feels like paying exorbitant prices for a below average property. Quality of service is bad. Bed and linen are dirty.

Clean, location

Reception staff, value money for the hotel

Its clean. In the city

1. The rigidness.. its too much2. Too small.. hardly enough area to pray. Its Malaysia, an Islamic country. Shud think of that

Loc next to mall

The room structure. INside too small

Siperb location, good clean rooms . Plenty of parking space.

Room is small.

Clean Central

Expensive for such a small room compared to d to others we have stayed in on this trip.Breakfast awful - all food cold

Excellent location next to Aman central. Very clean hotel.

Noise from the other room (bathroom wall was connected to my bedroom. I could hear everytime they switched on the water from both sink and shower). Breakfast is very weak, eggs and sausage cold.

AVOID THIS HOTEL

Very poor staff attitude, cheap room amenities, arrogant staff and entitled bookingnterms.DEFINITELY NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL... CLOSER TO A 2 STAR (AT BEST)!!!FOR THE EXTORTIONATE PRICE... BREAKFAST SHOULD BE MORE THAN COLD MEE HOON, BOILED EGGS ON A PLATE AND SOME CHEAP WHITE BREAD.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!FAR BETTER OPTIONS IN THE CITY

Clean and good location

Room to small,no window, breakfast very simple.

We're having local dish after having simple breakfast at the hotel. Downtown location which easier to reach town attractions.

The cleanliness is top notch and location next to the biggest mall in Alor Setar. Quiet environment still

Nil

The hotel is cosy, clean and right smack in the middle of town - within walking distance to places of interests.

On the -ve side, there are minimal staffing since this is a boutique hotel - but the staff are quite responsive, though

Central location. Newly refurbished. Friendly staffs

None. i am satisfied.

Front office folks were friendly.the first night was good because I think booked through booking.com. The breakfast is simple, clean and nice. Feels quite cozy. I extended the next night, and I got a smaller room without a window. It was clean but for the price and windowless, you can only last for 1 night. Overall it’s good but 2 nights is as good as it gets .

The price of the room, a bit too steep for the town and size of room. And the windowless and smaller room on the 2nd night.

The room was super clean, the breakfast was quite good, the staffs were friendly and I truly enjoyed my stay.

Frazel Heritage Hotel has a unique architectural charm that stands out. The breakfast spread is fantastic, truly satisfying guests' food cravings with a range of delicious options. However the pricing feels a bit high for a property in Kedah especially when compared to more bustling locations like Penang or KL. While parking is available on-site, spaces are limited during peak occupancy. Overall, a pleasant stay with some areas for improvement.

While the hotel offers a unique experience the price point may not align with the expectations for a location like Kedah especially when compared to hotels in more vibrant areas like Penang or KL. A more competitive rate could attract more guests.

New, clean, facility good

Room No soundproofing , toilet clothes hanger not enough.

New and clean The best hotel I could find in Alor Setar Friendly staff

The room is quite small vs the value of money

Staff was great. Breakfast good

Wish morre channels on tv

Great location, located right next to a mall where choices of restaurants are plenty. The room is spacious (some have no windows depending on the room type you pay for). Water filter is available along the corridor, which is applaudable :)

Did not have the breakfast because when we checked in, the staff was not able to tell us what will be served during breakfast other than saying simple breakfast. We needed to start the day super early so we decided to not take the risk and bought some bread from the mall next door instead. The next morning, another staff told us there's actually hot food served at the breakfast. Staff need to be trained better. The TV was not the easiest to turn on, instruction manual needs to be made available. Also, the aircond needs to be serviced because it smells weird.
