Hotel Samila

Location is excellent, just next to Alor Setar Tower, Aman Central Mall and Zahir Mosque.

Location

Simple hotel yet close to amenities. Value for money. I love the location, customer-oriented front desk staff and senior people friendly hospitality.

Restaurant at the ground floor to offer simple breakfast. However, not so troublesome as the hotel is close to eatery .

Location, very near to attraction points, walking distance to cafes, restaurants.Window view of menara alor setar…the cold and hot water dispenser was really helpful as it was really hot outside.

Shower and bath gel not very nice.the Air Cond took some time for cooling to take place.

Value for money with big family room

1) Bed sheet has stain 2) Heater was not hot enough

Clineliness is very good. Good environmental. Easy to find a food stall and strategic location (in town). A guarded has been provided to monitor outside of the hotel.

1) The staff was messy and muka ketat. (During my check in)

Location near shopping mall - convenience to get necessities

Facilities - Hard latex pillows, smells of cigarette at common areas & corridors. Restaurant only serves meal after 1pm (reason - puasa). No breakfast. Menu below average. Staffs - not so helpful.

Cleanliness, spacious and comfort

bathroom door

very nice room and located in beutiful place..a lot of food nearby...just a few minutes walking..all the people surounding is very friendly...highly recomended to all

Good location, room was comfortable, iron and iron board are provided. mini fridge and hair dryer also provided. that's very convenient for me who travel for work

they didn't provide toothbrush and toothpaste

Location was very good. Walking distance to many attractive spots. Good view. Loved that there was a hairdryer, iron & iron board in the room.

Two of the receptionists I encountered did not smile. Only 1 I met was friendly. Housekeeping was good. No simple toiletries provided i.e. toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner, slippers. Only 1 sachet of coffee and 1 sachet of tea for each night even though occupancy was for 2 pax. Why not 2 sachets each? The light at the doorway flickers for about 5 seconds each time I switch it on.

Location was good

Needs more good hangers, bed sheets has hairs and black dirty things

Big clean

Housekeeping entered my room and cleaned without my knowlegde when we were out

The location of the hotel. Just nearby attraction in Alor Setar. And just walk distance to Big Mall. So good for family trip.

The room is dirty. I think they not mopping and sweeping the floor. Too many dust and sticking floor. Hope hotel management can take note of this problem.

Walking distance to Aman Sentral and Menara Alor Setar

Sometimes the parking space full.

Location good, close to shopping mall.

Air conditioning system need to improve. Staff

We stayed in the premier family room. I like that there is a separate room for the single bed, and both rooms are equipped with a TV set mounted to the wall. Kettle and ironing facilities are provided in the room. The room also has a balcony!Location wise, very good as it is in walking distance to the Aman Mall, Alor Setar tower, etc.

Dogs, quite a number of them in front of the hotel entrance.

extra pillows (3!) in the cupboard. iron & iron board in each room (no need to ask), middle of alor setar infront of mall. carpark.

staff couldve be more friend and smile.

Near aman central mall. More food stall near this location.

san tv problem I have complained to the maintenance department since the first day of stay but until the last day it was not resolved after 5 days of staying here. very disappointing with the service provided.

Clean, comfortable, strategic location, friendly staff, free parking space

Clean, big room, easy to access everywhere
