Hotel Grand Crystal

The room was quite good for resting as it was quiet, and it was also spacious. Overall cleanliness was acceptable, but the cabinet inside the room was dusty when we check in.

The hotel is quite old, and many of the facilities really need refurbishment. The toilet in the room needs attention—it’s hard to flush and you have to hold it down for about a minute. The shower also takes a few minutes to get hot. For breakfast, it would be better if the hotel could at least serve eggs, as it’s a very basic breakfast item.

Bfast was good. However, hotel showed it's age.

Toilet could be better in terms of cleanliness

The water pressure for the shower is very slow. Plus, your blanket and bed might have fleas or bedbugs because we experienced itchy red spots on our bodies (back especially) after sleeping on it. Please check & clean thoroughly before letting the customer in.

The price was reasonable inclusive of breakfast. The food was delicious.

The TV plug was not functioning.

Location. Value. Helpful staff

Premises a bit old, needs touching up

The price, location, service by the staff and the bteakfast are all good.

Booked 2 rooms on 14-15 sept 2025. While deluxe twin room is nice, our stay at deluxe triple room is marred with a few baby roaches on the beds. Of course we made our complaint to the hotel. Hopefully they will do something about this. Other than that, we are quite happy with our stay here.

The room is spacious. I arrived around 1 a.m., and the staff were really nice. The breakfast was really good. Parking is provided, and the hotel is located near the town. But never try their other facilities.

nothg.

The staff very good service

Clean, confort, good location.

Aircond less cool

The location is ideal as it is situated in the vicinity of big shopping mall and a few reputable Chinese restaurants. It is also near to the railway station. The reception staff was efficient, polite and helpful. She had provided us a lot of information about Alor Setar Town and helped us to call for transport.
